Selby-Wakelin was the start of the Last 32. I'm obviously not following closely enough the timetable for this one.

Mark Selby has been beaten 4-2 by Chris Wakelin. This ensures Judd Trump as winner of the European series and £150k bonus.

Rod Lawler lost a decider to Thepchaiya un-Nooh

Big Bob Milkins beat Liang Wenbo in a decider.

And Kyren Wilson lost a decider to Matthew "conqueror of Hendry" Selt.

Anthony Hamilton dealt with Tubs Murphy. Ali Carter also bit the dust.

Chris Wakelin got rid of Jimmy White. Matthew Selt, Lu Ning and Jack Lisowski are also into tomorrow's quarter-finals.

Stuart Carrington v Xiao Guodong
Jack Lisowski v Lu Ning

Massively important ranking points up for grabs in the bottom 3 quarter finals.

We need Allen to turn Trump over and then get turned over himself. You rarely see a last 8 where the top 2 play each other and the rest are also-rans (save perhaps Lisowski).

It could be someone's big moment.

Or it could be Trump again.

Trump won the final 4-0 rather predictably.

But a very interesting tournament overall.

Well, another final for Lisowski anyway, and semi-finals for Selt and Carrington is good going for them.
