The Masters: Day One.
Liang Wenbo missed a match winning black at 5-4 up..................and it cost him as Ronnie O'Sullivan made a superb 121 clearance in the decider to win 6-5.
Ronnie was apparently ill
Ding Junhui six pots away from a 147 but overran on position from the 15th black to the yellow and missed a cut to the middle.
Ding ended up beating Kyren Wilson 6-3.
Day Two:
Mark Allen claimed a notable deciding frame victory over John Higgins after recovering from the loss of the first two frames. After levelling at 2-2 it was nip and tuck all the way to the finish but the Northern Irishman held his nerve the better in a tense final frame to prevail 6-5.
This evening Joe Perry produced a dazzling display to beat Stuart Bingham 6-1.
Breaks of 116, 77, 76 and 107 saw the 'Gentleman' into the quarter finals with room to spare.
Pleased for Perry, Bingham probably got more important things going on at home
Fu stunned Trump to win 6-5, whilst Robertson dumped misery Carter out in the evening
Day 4 results:
Mark Selby 6-5 Mark Williams
Barry Hawkins 6-1 Shaun Murphy
Quarter Finals:
Thursday 1pm - Ronnie O'Sullivan v Neil Robertson
7pm - Marco Fu v Mark Allen
Friday 1pm - Mark Selby v Barry Hawkins
7pm - Ding Junhui v Joe Perry
Boring Barry may be boring, but I can't abide Tubs Murphy.
Thursday Results:
Ronnie O'Sullivan 6-3 Neil Robertson
Marco Fu 6-2 Mark Allen
Excellent, Mark Allen's another one who can't lose enough, IMO
