As it's coming up to end of Back To The Future Day I highly recommend the steel books Back To The Future and Part 2 already did Part 3 last week and this will only be a review of steel books as I reviewed the films before a year or two ago and it's the same transfer. Back To The Future has the classic poster art on the front, on the back a scene from the film and inside art work of a scene were Doc is trying to read Martys mind in 1955. Part 2 again has the classic poster art work on the front, on the back a classic image from the movie and the inside art work of Marty riding the Hoverboad in 2015 and he gets stuck across the water. Each steel book like the third one has a silver boarders. Picture and sound amazing, extras are the same all tho if you get the boxset you get a new fourth disc with all new extras. Each steel book comes with a HD Digital copy, you get all three together in the boxset. Only disappointing thing is that I would loved the steel books to have had a gloss finish. The steel books have dropped in price on Zavvi and are now £12.99 well worth it.
I also have the German versions of each steel book has a different art work to UK versions got these a year ago, the steel books are full gloss, the title is in German but the discs are the same as UK ones.
Sorry have to post the image of the Back To The Future Part 2 steel book image on a separate post as my iPhone will only let me upload one image at a time so sorry about that:
Already did a review of this blu Ray but I highly recommend picking up The Equalizer but the steel book, comes debossed with great art work and with a nice shiny gloss finish was lucky enough to pick it up for £5.99.
I highly recommend people picking up the classic film Hard Target directed by John Woo, when the film was released over in the UK and in the States it was cut for the cinema release and DVD release as the powers at be at the time thought the film was too violent. Am pleased to report the film on Blu Ray is uncut for the first time, it's a totally different version of film and way more violent. There's a link below showing how really different it is:

All tho it's been out a while I highly picking up John Wick on blu ray, a very good slick action film and probably one of Keanu Reeves best films since the first Matrix film. Picture quality wise the film is stunning. Most of film takes place at night and this is were the film shines with the deep dark colours popping off the screen and it's so detailed and crystal clear 10/10.
Sound quality it's a 5.1 transfer and it's awesome if you have a home cinema system you'll really benefit from it especially with this film. Extra's wise there's good amount along with a digital copy and better yet the film is only a tenner now.
Managed to find Thor: The Dark World Blu Ray steel book for less then £7 quid online it usually goes from anything from £16-£25. I have the normal Blu Ray version of the film already but at that price and the quality of the art work I couldn't pass it up.
I highly recommend Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, fanastic film and a great Blu Ray. Picture is crystal clear and highly detailed the transfer is stunning along with the sound quality wise it's stunning. As for extras there's 45 mins worth, there's version of the blu ray which has a second disc which has additional extras, only negative is there's no digital copy of the film.
A little tip buy the blu ray from CEX as its only 8 quid considering that it doesn't come with a digital copy so your better off buying it from there rather then pay £10.00-£14.99.
I found and bought Commando Directors Cut for £4 on Christmas eve.

You get 2 versions of the film.Original theatrical release and the director's cut which contains more dialogue and exstended moments of violence including the legendary shed scene where Matrix lobs a soldier's arm off with a machete.

There's also a full length commentary by director Mark L.Lester,2 decent featurettes, deleted scenes and the theatrical trailer.

If you love mindless 80s action/carnage.This is for you.
Also found RoboCop(1987) on blu ray for £4 in a shop called Granger Games.

Fantastic transfer.

Picture quality is suberb.

You get the full uncut version of the film which was released on DVD in 2002 I think and all the extras from that version including a full length commentary from Paul Verhoeven, writer Ed Neumeier and executive producer Jon Davison.

New extras include a Q & A with the film makers and cast members from 2012,a new special effects featurette, creating a legend featurette and villains of old Detroit featurette which has some very funny stories from the actors who played the baddies.

I highly recommend it,classic sci fi,action satire and it's far superior to that shit remake from 2014.
