I highly recommend the blu ray steel book 300, you get a great art work on the front, back with a white/silver finish and you also get inside art work from the film as well. As for the picture quality its stunning, as always a 1080p transfer and images look detailed and colours looking deep and rich in tone making the film look very impressive especially where it comes to fight scenes, the film just looks beautiful. The Sound quality is just as impressive you get a 5.1 transfer and you really gotta have this hooked up to a home cinema system to really benefit from sound quality.
As for extras there a whole load on offer here and with the steel book version you get a ultra - violet digital copy of the film. Its well worth picking up whether you get the steel book version or normal version of the film only difference is that of course you get the film as beautiful steel book and you get a digital copy of the movie. Also its well worth upgrading from dvd to blu ray, you can pick up the steel boo of this film for ten quid now Smile.

Batman: The Motion Picture Anthology 1989-1997 £9.97 blu ray at time of posting.
Another blu ray i would highly recommend is the steel book version of the classic film Ben Hur, i already reviewed the normal version of this blu ray which came out as 3 disc blu ray. Why i would highly recommend the steel book version is that it comes a gold finish giving the steel book a striking beautiful look, you get art work on the front and back and also a beautiful piece of art in the inside of the steel book. The extra's are nearly the same except you lose a little of the extras as you lose the 3rd disc but what you do get extra is a digital copy of this epic and on some sites its as litlle as £9.95 its really well worth having even if you already have the normal blu ray version of the film.
The Dark Knight Trilogy - Ultimate Collector's Edition.

Received this today, and all I can say is this is one box set that any fan of Batman has to have in their collection, it really is a set to savour. A big thanks to kalel for his in-depth review, which persuaded me into splashing out on this great item. Big Grin

Glad to be of services, it really is worth every penny and you do feel like your getting your moneys worth. As i said in my review about the boxset i have different versions of the films and even if you have them already i can say its well worth buying Smile.
Wanna recommend the blu ray Close Encounters Of The Third Kind the steel book version of it, i was lucky enough to find it on zavvi for £5.99 which i consider a bargain as i've seen it from anything from £9.99 - £15 pounds, i know its a classic Steven Spielberg film which i haven't seen for many years. Its a pretty nice looking steel book with really great art work on the front and back of steel book and inside art from the film it really does have the look and feel of the film, also the title of the film is debossed on the front of steel book really great looking.
The transfer with all blu ray films is a 1080p transfer and for the most part the film looks really great but there sign's of film grain here and there probably due to film stock and the age of the film which isn't enough to ruin the look of the film but it still looks really nice on blu ray and the sound quality is really great too you get a 5.1/DTS - HD transfer making the film and effects sound really great.
As for extras i didn't see very much aside from a blu ray exclusive feature, but what is very impressive is that you get three different versions of the film, the original version, special edition version and a directors cut version too plus you get a ultra-violet digital copy of the film.
I've heard that HMV will be back up online this thursday, fingers crossed.
Just ordered the German blu ray steel books of Back To The Future Part 2 and Iron Man 3 will have a full review of them both when they turn up.
Just got World War Z from Sainsbury's who have a limited edition, available only with them for £14.99. It includes an extended version and a bonus dvd.
