A Good Day to Die Hard. Extended cut. Has deleted scenes, 5 featurettes, storyboards, art conceptions and commentaries. Comes with digital copy too. £12.99 at Sainsbury's.
Dr Who Series 7 part 1 and Series 7 Part 2 a combined 5 blu ray disc set which has all 13 episodes of the last dr who series and the 2012 xmas special the snowmen. also get a good amount of extras and the entire 13 episode series on ultraviolet in total can get the full series for about £40. which isn't bad for a bluray box set
I highly recommend the two steel book blu rays Commando and Predator 2, Commando is one of all time fav classic Arnie moves corny one liners but no ones does it better then Arnie. The steel book looks beautiful you get a great pic of Arnie as John Matrix on the front and back of the steel book very striking images too, theres inside art work inside the steel book with a classic scene from the movie along with the front of steel book being embossed. The film transfer as always is a 1080p its big improvement over the dvd version all tho in places it is grainy but nothing enough to spoil the film its still worth the upgrade from dvd to blu ray and yes the film is uncut. The sound quality is a massive improvement over the dvd version too with a 5.1/DTS mix, there isn't a lot of extras nor is there a digital copy. Its well worth having this steel book in collection if you can find it for a good price as its sold out in most places and people are selling brand new for a lot of money. You can pick up the normal of blu ray for a cheap price if you look around.
Predator 2 i thought was a under rated film not as good as the first one with Arnie but a decent film in it own right, the front on the steel book is embossed you get a striking image of the predator on the front and back with him wearing his mask on the front and without the mask on the back, you get inside art with a scene from the film, its a very impressive striking looking steel book.
Again here you get a 1080p film transfer and its a massive improvement over the dvd version of the film, the images in the film look crystal clear and highly detailed too i was very impressed.
The sound quality was also very impressive too with a 5.1/DTS output. Theres a few extras, no digital copy but you do get a dvd version of the film too. Am happy with steel book as it matches perfectly with my Predator steel book, i highly recommend picking these films up if your a fan of the films and a steel book collector.
I highly recommend the blu ray Killing Me Softly, Great picture quality with as usually 1080p transfer. its totally crystal clear with not a grain in sight and its so highly detailed very impressive. The sound is stunning once again 5.1/DTS sound quality excellent and i was impressed. As for extras hardly any and no extras. The big bonus is Amazon have the film 6 pounds and at that price i highly recommend it.
Space 1999 season 1 - one of my all time favourite series, i,ve had this for a while now and finally managed to finish watching it. For a series made in mid seventies the picture and sound quality is good, the special effects also hold up pretty well. There are plenty extras and if you shop around you can pick it up for as little as £20.

Those eagle transporters really are the coolest space craft ever.
Play.com have the steelbook editions of Total Recall (original) available for £7.99 and Pitch Black for £4.99.

Got a few blu ray's i would like to recommend and there highly special ones, there Batman related steel books Batman Returns, Batman Begins and Batman: The Dark Knight. I have Batman on its way but hasn't arrived yet. The Batman Returns steel is beautiful if i could change one thing it would have been to give it gloss finish, you get a great Batman symbol on the front, on the back you get a image of Batman, Catwoman and The Penguin and in the inside you get a image from the movie. Picture quality is 1080p as always compared to the dvd version its a lot more clearer and detailed. The quality is 5.1 and when your hearing punches or the Batman theme it sounds stunning. As for extras there whole to watch here but there's no digital copy which would have been nice.
The Batman Begins steel book looks great with its nice gold finish, you get a image of batman on the front carrying Rachael and another of Batman on the back and on the inside you get the Batman symbol surrounded by bats. Picture quality again 1080p, the picture is crystal clear and stunning to look at. The Sound quality is stunning a 5.1/DTS and you gotta have this hooked up to a home cinema system. As for extras there's tons to watch again no digital copy, there is a version you can get which is a triple and that comes with a blu ray, dvd and digital if you want that.
Batman: The Dark Knight is a beautiful looking steel book you get a nice striking image of Batman on the front, on the back you get a striking image of the Joker while inside you get a picture of Batman on the Bat-pod. The picture quality as always a 1080p transfer, the picture is stunning and crystal and blows away the dvd version. Sound quality is a 5.1/DTS the film sounds stunning when its being played through a home cinema system. As for extras there's so much so that it comes on 2 discs, again no digital copy. You can get a triple play version of the film if you want that and a dvd copy of the film.
All in all these steel books look stunning and am so glad i picked them up, i was lucky enough to get them for £11 each as i said from start would have been nice if they came with a gloss finish but if your a Batman fan and steel book fan then its worth picking up. Will out up the Batman steel book when it turns up.
Ultramarines: A Warhammer 40,000 movie, the first feature length movie set in the warhammer 40,000 universe. it's an animated movie about a squad of ultramarines investigating a distress call on a remote planet. the story is very good has a very good voice cast including Terence stamp, john hurt and sean pertwee

the picture and sound quality are top notch and get a good amount of extras
