youll like rush. even if your not an f1 fan
The Chris Nolan Batman Steel books are now £6 each on sainsburys online bloody bargain at that price.
I highly recommend the blu ray Rush, i picked the steel book version of it and it looks stunning it comes in a simply red case finish with white stripes and it looks really nice. There's a little bit of art work at the back of steel book case and inside art work. Am not a F1 fan but i thought i would take a chance with the film and considering that the steel book was limited and selling out which am glad i got it for the cheap price i did as its pretty much sold out and the places that still have are charging a lot of money for it.
Picture quality wise the its perfect its a beautiful transfer and images just look amazing and crystal clear with no grain in sight at all, the colours through out the film look deep and rich if had to rate the picture quality its easily a 10/10.
Sound quality is stunning as well you get a 5.1/DTS-HD transfer and its amazing hearing it through a home cinema system again for me a 10/10 transfer.
Extras theres a few here but not a lot, you also get a dvd version of the film with steel book but no digital copy which would have great if they had included it. Well worth having the film in your collection whether you get the normal or steel book version of the film Smile.
The Robocop remake is available to pre - order as a limited edition blu steel from Amazon at £14.90 which is a bloody good price as places like Zavvi have it at pre order for £19.99.

I highly recommend picking up the Robocop Remastered Edition whether its the normal blu ray or the steel book, i picked up the steel book which for some odd reason turned up from Amazon early sunday morning along with two other blu rays i ordered from them must have been a private courier. I already have Robocop as steel book already but there rumours that they were releasing a remastered version of the film and the first version picture quality wasn't prefect and had issues in places due to grain, still keeping that steel book as its a limited edition and in some places its going for good money plus am a big fan of Robocop.
The steel book was great art work on the front and back with Robocop being on the front and ED-209 on the back and with nice black and white art in the inside, what makes the steel book even more impressive is that comes a beautiful gloss finish which these days is very rare on a steel book as they just usually come in a matte finish.
Picture quality wise its massive improvement over the first release everything looks so detailed even right down to the lines on Robocop's suit, you can now see the blue/purple/sliver hue to Robocops suit they've really put so much effort in this transfer its just a shame they didn't do that first time around. The colours this time around are really rich and deep the film looks beautiful.
Sound wise the film sounds even better and you get a 5.1/DTS transfer you really benefit from having this hooked up to home cinema system, i've even heard stuff in the back ground that i've never heard before, i pretty now know the whole film lien for line lol.

One thing i would have loved to seen is a digital copy of the film but you can't have everything lol, also the film is the directors cut version of the movie. Its really worth picking up this version of the film whether its the steel book or normal blu ray version especially as the steel book version is a limited edition, also pre-ordered Robocop 2014 as it was only £14 for the steel book its gone up to £20+ now for pre-order.
Picked up Thor: The Dark World from Sainsburys, there is a steel book of the film but its £25 quid for it no way am paying that kind of money for a steel book. The picture quality is stunning, you get as always a full 1080p transfer. No seen a grain any where its totally crystal clear, the images look highly detailed and colours look deep and rich a 10 out of 10 for the picture quality.
Sound quality is stunning you get a DTS-HD MA 7.1/DTS Digital Surround 5.1 transfer and its amazing when you hear it playing through a home cinema system.
As for extras you get tons here, Commentary, Deleted & extended scenes, First look at Captain America The Winter Soldier, Hail to the king documentary, A brother's journey parts 1 & 2 featurette, Scoring Thor Dark World with Brian Tyler & much much more. The only thing am a little disappointed with the blu ray is that there's no digital copy of the film thanks to Disney and theres no slip cover for the normal blu ray.
Well worth picking it up from Sainsburys as its £12.99 every where else its about £15 quid or more.
Got Thor:The Dark World myself yesterday, but I got the 3d bluray version which comes on 2 discs, one disc has just the 3D version of the film on and the other has the 2d version of the film along with lots if extras.

Paid £19.99 for it which isn't bad for a 3D bluray film
Play.com are selling Star Trek Into Darkness - The Villain Edition (Includes 2D & 3D Blu-Rays Plus Model Ship) (Entertainment Store Exclusive) steel book for £22.99 down from over 40 quid in one of there one deal offers only 8 hours left on the deal, offer ends at 8am.

Got two blu rays to recommend the first being the first season of Breaking Bad been hearing good things about this show thought i pick it and for some odd reason it was cheaper to buy on blu ray then dvd. Picture quality wise it looks great probably to do with most tv shows these days are filmed in HD with a digital camera there tiny bits of grain but nothing to serious to effect the picture and i have no frame of reference with how it looked on dvd. Sound quality wise it sounds awesome and you get a 5.1/DTS-HD transfer so everything sounds crystal clear. As for extras theres good load on here plus you a digital copy of all the eps from season 1 and all the epos come on two blu ray discs well worth picking up as its a tenner now.
Second blu ray that i highly recommend is the first Mummy film out of three film this one was my fav, i picked the German blu ray steel book from Amazon Germany for less then 7 pounds and that included delivery and i got the item within three days after i placed the order talk about fast. You get a decent bit of art work on the front of steel book and some on the back, where its a little disappointing the inside is plain so no art work which is a shame. Picture quality wise its great transfer there are signs of grain here and there but its good looking film and effects even with the transfer to blu ray still stand up. Sound quality wise you get a 5.1/DTS transfer and the film sounds better then ever, as for extras there's a whole load available on the disc a nice touch would have been having a digital copy of the film.
Hunger Games: Catching Fire (hmv exclusive collectors edition) got this today as hmv were selling it in certain hmv stores today, 1day early to mark it's release. get 3 versions of the film (Blu-Ray, Dvd and ultraviolet digital copy) get a good amount of extras including a commentary, feature length documentary and deleted scenes, also get a set of 8 art cards and exclusive artwork
