I recommend the Robocop(2014) on blu ray, first of all i loved the original which i still say is the best one and when i first heard about it i wasn't expecting much but its actually decent film enjoyable and what i do like about what they did with the film is that its a totally different story rather then copy the original but where it drops is that its not really that violent or no real bad guy, but i would love to see a sequel if they do one.
I got the limited edition blu ray steel book as at the time it was going for a very cheap price and now its gone up in price. Its got a really nice image on the front and back of the steel book and has inside art work from the film, the only downside is i would have loved to seen the steel book been given a gloss finish.
Picture quality wise the film looks stunning the colours look deep and rich especially with the dark tone of the film and not a hint of grain throughout the whole film and everything looks so highly detailed very impressed.
Sound quality wise the film is amazing you get a 5.1/DTS-HD audio master and it sounds amazing especially when its hooked up to a home cinema system.
As for extras its a little disappointing you get deleted scenes and some featurettes, what i would have loved to have seen is more extras and at least a digital copy of the film, aside from that worth picking up.
the new Robocop is diabolical if you ask me. like Terminator and Die Hard before it was always gonna be ruined by the violence being toned down for the lower age cert to attract a younger audience.
I enjoyed the robocop remake a lot and will be getting it on bluray asap

Thats the only problem i had with it is that it was too toned down, what would have been great if they had put had directors cut version of the film. The problem with Robocop is that it was always supposed to violent same as you said with Die Hard once you take that away it losses the essence of what it is.
I really gotta recommend on blu ray the one i picked up was the remastered version as there was a previous one and its a steel book. The steel book comes in a black finish with Rocky on the front with Apollo Creed on the back and inside has a classic scene from the movie, the title on the front of the steel book is embossed would have been great if it had a gloss finish but thats pretty rare on steel books these days.
With this being a newly remastered transfer the film looks better then ever there signs of grain here and there but thats probably due to the age of film. AS for sound its crystal clear and the classic Rocky soundtrack sounds better then ever its a 5.1/DTS-HD transfer so getting good quality.
As for extras there's ton's on the disc would have been nice to get a digital copy of the film which would have been nice. As for as i know the only way to get the remastered of the film is to either buy the steel book which i did or to new version of the box set i have no idea what the previous transfer of the film was like. Zavvi are selling the steel book version for only a tenner so its well worth picking up at that price.
Picked the blu ray film Non-Stop, i was lucky enough to pre-order it as a steel book when it was only £14.31 before they put up to £20 got price considering the normal blu ray is £13.
First of all the steel book is beautiful theres great image of Liam Neeson on the front and back and you get a image of him from the film in the inside art work of the steel book. Would have been nice if the steel book had been given a gloss finish for that extra touch but a good looking steel book never the less.
Picture quality wise as always a 1080p transfer the film looks stunning, colours rich and picture always looks in focus and in rich detail. Sound quality impressive as well with a 5.1/DTS transfer and extras theres a good handful no digital copy which would have been nice.
Picked a second blu ray steel book of Green Lantern off a trader on amazon, already have the normal blu ray which reviewed ages ago but simply had to get this steel book and looks really nice.
I highly recommend The Walking Dead Season 1 on blu ray which comes on o two blu ray discs. I was lucky enough to pick it up for £6.94 second hand. Picture quality wise its pretty good but there is sign of grain here and there but not enough to spoil your viewing enjoyment. Sound wise its 5.1/2.0 transfer which does sound pretty good playing through a home cinema system. Extras there good load here what i would have loved to have seen is digital copy of eps, aside from that well worth having in your collection from such a great show.
I highly recommend Captain America: The Winter Soldier on blu ray, there is a steel version of the film but your looking at £24.99 and its sold out in most places but you probably find if you import it.
Picture quality wise its stunning, the film looks totally crystal clear with no grain in sight, as always its a 1080p transfer and it really shows if had to rate it i would give it a 10/10.
Sound quality wise its very impressive you get a DTS-HD MA 7.1/5.1 transfer and it sounds amazing, if you have a home cinema system then it really benefits the film 10/10 for the sound transfer.
As for extra's there's a good hand full on the disc like, commentary, a gag reel, deleted scenes and couple featurettes and mine came with some trading cards. I was a little disappointed that it didn't come with at digital copy of the film which would have nice but we know that Disney in the UK give us a rough deal, aside from that well worth picking up and having in your collection.
In my collection this afternoon. I got the 3D Blu-Ray for £19.99 which has different artwork on the front compared to the dvd and 2d Blu-Ray. Comes on 2 discs, 1 has the 3D version of the film with no extras and the other has the 2D version with a good amount of extras on it. I also got the trading cards.

If youre a fan of Agents Of Shield then you do have to watch this as what happens in this film has an enormous impact on agents of shield
