Grain is actually a good thing in film and shouldn't be looked upon as a negative and thereby put people off buying the blu ray. It's a measure of the quality of transfer. If the grain has been removed by DNR you remove the detail of the picture.

This gives a better explanation.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past hmv exclusive steelbook you get 3 copies of the film (3D, 2D and Digital HD) a good amount of extras including deleted scenes, gag reel and other featurettes including one in 3D. also there is a second screen experience available if you download the free official x-men movies app onto your tablet or smartphone and sync it to your bluray player whilst watching the 2D version of the film

I highly recommend picking up Star Trek: The Original Series 1 on blu ray, not only was at a great price of £12.11 on Amazon at the time of writing its gone back up to £35 again. it comes in a nice case and slip cover and contains 7 discs with a total running time of 1740 minutes. It has all the ep's from the first season it doesn't include the first pilot with Captain Pike but you easily pick it up by get the Star Trek: The Original Series - Origins on blu ray which i already bought a few months ago and its quite cheap to pick up new or second hand.
You get all 29 eps from season 1 with extra bonus you get two versions of each ep, you get the original version and the remastered version where it has new special effects and CGI and also better sound presented in 7.1/DTS so get the best of both worlds which i think is a great touch that they went to so much effect.
Extras wise there's tons heres a list of what you get:

Well worth picking up especially if your massive Star Trek fan and if its drops to that price again i would say pick it up as you can't go wrong at that price.
Another great find Kal-El, i managed to grab the last one at £12.11Smile

Your efforts are much appreciated.
Can't recommend this enough on bluray. I have all the episodes from the original series. Next gen never really cut it for me. This series pioneered sci fi for more than a generation and the bluray fully justifies why.
Transformers: Age Of Extinction hmv exclusive bumblebee limited edition. its the 3 disc 3D bluray edition which instead of a normal bluray case, comes in a limited edition Bumblebee Case. Disc 1 has the 3D Version of the Film, disc 2 is the 2D version of the film and disc 3 has 3 hours of extras on it. there is also a 2D Bluray Steelbook available which is 2 discs. 1 disc is the 2d version of the film and the 2nd disc is extras

Thought i would give some tips in getting blu rays cheaper, first tip is to look around the different sites usually you can find them a lil cheaper or if you pre-order many months in advance as sometimes places like Amazon put them up a lot cheaper then what they should be.
Second tip is join up with sites like Zavvi as once in a while they give codes via your email which can be used to get money off also use price comparison sites which also help.
Any tip is to don't buy them right away as they usually drop after a couple months thats if your not in a hurry to watch them.
Also buying them second helps as well as you can save a lot of money of course this doesn't if some blu rays come with a digital copy, sometimes if your very lucky you can sometimes get the codes unused but not often, also some sites do 2 for 12 quid or a few 30 quid etc etc.
You can also apply this to video games and dvd's, i hope all this helps.
I highly recommend picking up Guardians of The Galaxy on blu ray, up there as one of my films of years this film has it all great story, amazing special effects, funny and a kick ass sound track too.
Picture quality wise the film looks gorgeous as always a 1080p transfer every scene looks rich in detail and colour the film is stunning 10/10.
Sound quality wise its stunning you get a DTS-HD MA 7.1/DTS 5.1 and film sounds stunning you'll really benefit from having the film hooked up to home cinema system especially with amazing sound track and even right down to the explosions in the film 10/10.
Extras wise theres ton's available on the disc:

Audio Commentary
Never-Before-Seen Deleted Scenes
Making-of Featurettes
Exclusive Look at Marvel's The Avengers: Age of Ultron
Gag Reel

The only negative side of the blu ray is that i would loved it to come with a digital copy of the film just like its region 1 counter part but we all know the problems with Disney UK short charging us when it comes to digital copies of films and extras. Apart from that a great film and well worth having as part of collection, as there is a 3D version of the film available and there was a Zavvi exclusive steel book that sold out months ago on pre-order.
Got my Bluray copy of guardians of the galaxy this morning, I got the 3d bluray release which comes on 2 discs. 1 disc has the 3d version of the film on it and the other disc has the 2d version of the film with the extras youve described above. Agree the only negative is that you don't get a digital copy and overall its a fantastic film (my film of 2014 so far) and well worth having in your collection, even if you're not a comic book fan
Jeez Rammy your like big kid in a sweet shop Big Grin
Anyway... Got my copy of Guardians of the Galaxy Holodeck edition. Comes on one doublesided photon imagining unit. I made the mistake of entering the movie without checking my characterisation and had to play groot. Complex script to learn Shy
