Star Trek First Contact

Already did a review on this Blu Ray but I picked up the Blu Ray Steel Book to complete my collection of the 50th Anniversary Steel Books. One of my fav films and I gotta say the art work on the steel book is stunning all tho I wish it did have a gloss finish and digital copy of the movie but at £5.99 bargain and thanks to Lancelot on the heads up on the sale on Zoom Pics below and video of my unboxing of the steel book.

Picked up the 3D version of Skyscraper in the HMV sale, the film is entertaining and good value at only £4.

There are one or two great bargains to be had so the sale is worth checking out.

Shazam

Just came through the post directly from Warner Bros I opted for the steel book version of the movie. First if I was very impressed with the art work of the steel book not just the front and back but inside too and only the striking deep rich colours but the extra touches of a gloss finish all over, definitely now one of my fav looking steel books.
Picture quality wise the picture transfer is stunning and not only highly detailed but the colours pop on screen fantastic 1080p transfer the 4K transfer is a 2160p. the sound quality is equal impressive you get a Dolby Atmos-TrueHD transfer and it sounds fantastic through a home cinema system.

Extras

More than 90 minutes of supercharged special features including:

Only minor disappointment is no digital copy of the movie. You get two discs one featuring the 4K version of the movie and the other disc the normal Blu Ray of the Movie. This will go well with my other DC steel book movie collections.

The Flash Season 5

Had a bit of trek to find this as the shops around me never had it on display yet it it was the dvd version.
One thing I will say is the picture quality is better then the Sky HD showing of the movie.
It comes with 4 discs and the entire Eps and also has the entire Elseworlds crossover Eps which is was great so the other CW show Blu Rays will be doing this too they started doing this last year with the crossovers.

Extras

Includes The Epic 3-Part DC Super Hero Crossover Event With Arrow and Supergirl.

Gag Reel

Deleted Scenes.

Only negative which started from last year on the CW Blu Ray shows no more digital copies of seasons which is a shame.
