I highly recommend the Star Wars: The Complete Saga on blu ray, you get all 9 blu ray discs with the 6 films on each disc and the other three full of extras over 40 hours worth of extras and full colour booklet too. All the film transfers are 1080p and the sound amazing the films never looked so good, if you pre order online you get a limited edition film cell. Will give everyone a update once i've had more time to check it, but its a must have if your a star wars fan Smile

if your gonna pick up get it at Sainsburys Rammy only 59 quid in there Smile.
too late kalel, got it from hmv where i paid £67 for it and had preordered it several weeks ago. didnt get the film cell as reserved it in shop but got a free star wars t-shirt which as far as i know cant get in the shops, going actually to start watching them when i go to bed in story order (prequel trilogy first)
So far from what i've had quick at the films the transfer to blu ray it top notch, the newer films look a little better then the older films but thats just due to them being filmed on a digital camera. The sound is really amazing on a 5.1 cinema set up, so far am very impressed the blu ray box set aside from the back to the future box set probably the best blu ray set of year so far.
After getting the Star Wars on blu ray just had to play the old star wars gamecube Star Wars Rogue Squadron which am playing on my Wii, you get to play all the best bits from Star Wars The New Hope. It even has all the speech from the film, currently doing the last part of The New Hope With the attack on the Death Star Smile.
The two blu ray's i would recommend are Green Lantern and Thor, Green Lantern is pretty good film with good effects and they really shine on blu ray with images being rich in colour and crystal clear plus the sound is really good especially if you have it hooked up to a 5.1 cinema system, you also get two cuts of the film the theatrical cut and the extended cut which is about ten mins longer, as long as your not expecting it to be like Batman: Dark Knight and are a Green Lantern/Hal Jordan fan then you'll like it. You get a dvd and digital copy of the film, there's some decent extras plus you get sinestro corps Batman skin for the PS3. Thor is really good too and really shines on blu ray the picture is detailed and clear, the colour's rich and warm and the sound again top notch if you have it hooked it to 5.1 cinema system is really booming. You get a dvd and digital copy of the film and theres some decent extra's about on the disc too
A film i would highly recommend is The Lincoln lawyer i don't a lot about it but i know its based on a novel. From the quick look that i had a film it looks crystal clear on blu ray, the sound is pretty good and there's a couple of extra's too, from the trailer i've seen of the film it looks really good and i know its been rated very highly. The added bonus is that play.com are selling it at the moment for a fiver on blu ray you really can't go wrong there for a film of the quality and price. Will rate it out of ten on the last film you watched thread when i get round to watching it.
zulu fully restored for blu ray classic superb war film
Would highly recommend Captain America: The First Avenger on Blu Ray, The Picture quality is crystal clear and the colours rich and warm you can tell they've really put some effort into the presentation, the sound quality is really good too, you every sound right down to the bullets and punches all crisp in sound. Theres a good fair amount of extras and you get a dvd copy of the film and a digital copy too. Will rate the film on the last film i watched thread when i get time to watch the whole film, but its a must buy film Smile.
