I highly recommend Fantastic Four on blu ray its not in the same league as let's say the X-Men film but its a decent film for what it is. I managed to pick up the steel book version of the film for £4.99 which is bloody bargain at the price considering it was £15 at one point.
The art work on the steel book is very nice, you get art of the Fantastic Four on the cover, title is embossed giving it a nickel and look, on the back there's a striking image of Doctor Doom and the inside art work of The Torch from a scene from the movie also the whole steel book has a matte finish would have loved a gloss finish which would have been nice,
The picture quality is a massive improvement over the dvd version, as always a 1080p transfer every thing looks so highly detailed and the colours just jump off the screen.
Sound quality wise its 5.1 DTS-HD transfer and it sounds amazing again a big improvement of the dvd version.
It's the extras where its really disappointing as theres none aside from commentary from the cast, there's no digital copy or extended version of the film which was available on the dvd but for a fiver well worth it.
I also got Speed for a fiver on steel book, the art look's a little bland on the front and back but still decent but nothing special, but the inside art work looks really nice with a scene from the movie.
Picture quality wise its better then the dvd version of the film and you can tell its been cleaned up with its 1080p transfer.
Sound quality is big improvement too it sounds a lot clearer and i've even heard things i haven't heard on the dvd version of the film.
Extra's wise there isn't a lot aside from a trailer and audio commentaries.
Battlestar Galactica: The Complete Original Series. The title is slightly misleading as you get both series of the original BSG (not 1) on 9 bluray discs, the first 6 have the classic BSG series on with 4 and a half hours of extras also on the discs. The 3 remaining discs have the complete 2nd series called Galactica 1980 with no extras.

well worth having especially if you've only seen the fantastic bsg reboot tv series or like me you remember watching it as a kid
Its well worth upgrading action films from the 90's to blu ray because a lot them where cut when they were released on dvd films such as Die Hard 3, Die Hard 4.0, Cliffhanger, Commando, Lethal Weapon 4, Tomorrow Never Dies and many more were cut but when they released on blu ray uncut now. Casino Royale was cut on the blu ray and was released as 12 on blu ray but last year it was released again uncut with a 15 ceft rating on the blu ray and quite bit was cut out.
The uncut version of Casino Royale why better then original version way better and much more brutal following more like the book now well picking up. You can tell the uncut version apart from the old one as its rated 15 instead of 12 rating and its released by Fox.
Am only recommending Transformers: Age of Extinction as Tescos and Amazon are selling the blu ray for £8, i thought the film was average with the first film of the series being the best one. Mark Wahlberg was a massive improvement as the lead of the film and effects and action was really great all tho some parts of the film has ropey effects but apart from that no plot.
Picture wise its stunning and highly detailed with the usually 1080p transfer its sharp and rich and the colours ust pop out the screen, sound wise its stunning you get a 5.1 dolby digital transfer.
Extras wise you get over 3 hours of special features and bonus second blu ray disc, no digital copy of the film tho.
Really highly recommend picking up Justice League: Throne of Atlantis on blu ray not only a great story but a stunning piece of animation based upon the graphic novel by Geoff Johns, Paul Pelletier and Ivan Reis. Its great way to getting to know Aquaman especially with the DC 52 reboot and his up and coming appearance in Batman v Superman, the Justice League and his own solo film.
The picture quality on blu ray looks amazing with the usually 1080p transfer, especially with the colours and use of CGI thought the movie and the animation always looks and feels crisp and detailed.
The sound quality sounds amazing especially during the fight scenes and different voice actors used in the movie really showcases the different charcaters through out the story and comes with a 5.1/DTS-HD transfer.
Extras wise there's pretty available on the disc and some extras are exclusively on blu ray, there's a sound featurette, a Batman and Nightwing bouns sequence, a 2014 NY comic Con Panel, a soun track, a bonus peek at the next animate film Batman Vs Robin, a villians featurette an 4 bonus cartoons. It woul have been nice to have a digital copy of the film but the ton of extrs more then make for it.
Its well worth having this as part of collection of your big fan of animated movies and if you shop around under a tenner too.

P.S

There's a cameo and little nod from someone from the Superman family, won't spoil who that is Smile

very good picture and sound quality with a good amount of extras including a commentary. also get a digital copy of the film too
I highly recommend picking up Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox on blu ray, now this animated movie never came out in the UK for some dumb reason so you have to important either on dvd on blu ray. The blu ray disc will play on a UK blu ray as Warner Bros are region free.
The basic story line is that Barry Allen aka The Flash time line has been altered and its about him trying to repair the damage, now there is a rumour going on that this story line will be used in The Flash tv series.
The picture quality looks amazing running at 1080p and really show cases the animation and sense of speed when The Flash is running.
The sound quality is great too with a 5.1/DTS-HD sound transfer and again show cases the actor's voicing the charcters. Extra wise is number of featurettes, 4 bonus cartoons, a sneak peek at Justice League: War.
Well worth picking up especially if your a Flash fan Smile.
Picked up another blu ray but this time a steel book i got Indiana Jones And The Temple Doom, i already have all the Indiana Jones films in a blu ray boxset but had to pick this up as it was going for a cheap price and will go with my first Indiana Jones film which i also have a steel book. Am gonna keep this one wrapped and am not gonna review the film again as i did so a few months ago, but what i will say is that steel book has a great art work on the front and back and the inside has art work from the movie. What makes this still book very impressive is its high gloss finish across the whole steel book which is rare these days for a steel book as they usually have a matte finish, well worth picking up if you can find it for under £15 as its worth quite a bit now.
