I highly picking up Despicable Me 2 on blu ray, i had pick up this steel book because the art work looked so beautiful and very striking too. I haven't seen the first yet so i have no idea which film is better or its worse but when i saw the price at £9.99 had to make this part of my collection considering it was £24 at one point and it really makes a nice change that the steel book has a gloss finish which is very rare these days, you get some amazing art work on the front and back of the steel book and in the inside too.
The picture quality is stunning as always its a 1080p transfer, the picture is so clear and detailed that it makes the animation look so smooth 10/10 for effort.
Sound quality wise its stunning you get a 5.1/DTS-HD transfer and its amazing, extras wise there's load available along with a ultraviolet copy of the film. If you can see this steel book for a tenner or wise its worth picking up and making part of collection
I highly recommend Sin City on blu ray, i picked my copy up from Sainsburys as it was only 7 quid you get to versions of the film, you get the cinema and the recut extended version. The picture quality is stunning and crystal clear and with the film being in black and white it really stands out and as always a 1080p transfer. The sound quality is amazing too and comes with a 5.1/DTS transfer. As for extras theres tons of special features, it would have been nice to have a digital copy of the film which would have been the icing on the cake but with tons of extras of available its not a huge loss, plus you get two versions of the film on two discs well worth picking up and upgrading too if you have it on dvd only for 7 quid at Sainsburys.

Got through the post Indiana Jones and the raiders of the lost ark, i already have the limited edition blu ray box set with all the films but i wanted to get the steel book so i could put up as part of collection. i only bought the first as to buy all four would cost a lot of money so i thought why not just get the first one, i won't review it again as i already did it bit what i will review is the steel book and it looks beautiful. What makes it stand out is the colours used on the steel book even when you see pics of it does;t do it justice seeing it in person and the extra of the whole steel book being in gloss which is so rare these days as they just give them a boring matt finish. The choice of art that they used on the front and back and inside is beautiful. If you can find any of the films for a price the i highly recommend picking any one of them up.
Got 2 blu ray's to recommend the first one Ghostbusters 2, i picked up the steel book version of it so it would match the Ghostbusters 1 steel book that i picked up a few months ago. The steel book is stunning to look at with the Ghostbusters 2 logo on the front and on the back up a image of the 4 Ghostbusters from the original poster, inside you get a image of Ecto-1. The added bonus is the steel book is in high gloss which these days is rare for a steel book.
Picture quality wise the film looks stunning and way better then the dvd transfer and you can see that have put a lot of work into the transfer with it being a 4k transfer its looks even more stunning, the film will look even better on a 4k tv. The film just looks so much clearer and the colours are just are gorgeous to look at.
The sound quality is stunning as well the film sounds so much more clearer and even heard things i never heard before in the movie, the sound track across the film sounds stunning when you've got it hooked to a home cinema system its wow amazing.
Extras wise there's a handful available, theres a documentary about Ghostbusters 3, deleted scenes, "On Our Own" music video by Bobby Brown, and a digital copy of the film. There still more deleted scenes of the film but there not on the blu ray which is a shame but something is better then nothing. If you the box set with both films you get a booklet talking about both films but a digital copy of both films and in 4k. All tho not as good as the first one i still think its a good enjoyable film and is underrated, well having in your collection.
The second blu ray film is The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which i heard is alright as a film but thought i would add to the first one. Picture quality wise its stunning again by Sony its a 4k transfer and its looks stunning crystal and making the effects of the film look better, again this will look better on a 4k tv.
Sound quality wise its stunning due to the 4k transfer, you get a 5.1/DTS-HD transfer and sounds amazing through a home cinema system.
As for extras you get deleted scenes, making of and featurettes, commentary and music video by Alicia keys and a digital copy of the film. The version i picked up the Amazon exclusive you get a free comic with the Sainsburys version you get a watch which i didn't want lol.

I highly recommend the blu ray American Hustle, first of all its great transfer as always you get a 1080p transfer resulting in a crystal clear image with no sign of grain. Sound quality wise you get a 5.1/DTS-HD transfer and its sounds amazing. Extras wise theres isn't a lot am afraid, you get a making of and deleted and extended scenes thats pretty much it. No digital copy either which is a shame as would expect that from a recent modern film, aside from that well worth and its really to buy now only £6.99:
