3RD T20I
SA 191-3 van der Dussen 74 no du Plessis 52 no
Eng 192-1 Malan 99 no Buttler 67 no
Eng beat SA by 9 wickets
Not a day for batsmen, it looked like South Africa had got 30 run too many, yet it wasn't nearly enough as Malan & Buttler added an unbroken 167 a 2nd wicket t20I record. Both captains miss-read the pitch & wanted to bat first, thinking a used pitch would be harder to score on, not the case.
This win puts England on top of the T20 world rankings.
Great to see Stuart Broad nominated for the Sports Personality of the Year, highly unlikely that a cricketer will win in consecutive years.
