Morgan & Bopara put on a 226 run unbroken partnership for the 5th wicket,a world record at International ODI level.They beat Ireland by 6 wickets after being in trouble at 48-4 chasing a target of 270.Porterfield produced a captains innings of 112 with Rankin taking 4-46, Tredwell 2-35.Morgan finished on 124 & Bopara 101.
Australia beat Scotland by 200 runs,Finch 148 & Marsh 151 put on 246 for the 1st wicket as they amassed 362-3
Had to feel a bit sorry for Ireland with two of their own putting in great performances for England. Great comeback from 48-4!
Jos Buttler is leaving Somerset at the end of the season and is expected to join newly promoted Lancashire.. Smile

He had been competing for the wicketkeeper's role with Craig Kieswetter at both Somerset and in the one days for England.

The move will get him the experence that he needs to be considered the for the England test team..

Next year will be the last for Paul Collingwood as a player. He is to coach Scotland in the winter one day and T20 tournaments, for experience as it looks like he is to take over from Geoff Cook.
Will Smith has joined Hampshire and despite a number of other players leaving or retiring there is still no money to add to the squad apart from Stuart Poynter, who has represented Ireland as back up wicket keeper.

If ever a cricketer showed guts and determination it's Paul Collingwood .While most media commentators will say Colly was the least gifted player in England's line up . His determination to succeed , generally left his critics with egg on their faces .He's a natural leader and I can see Colly taking up a coaching role in England's set up in the not too distant future .
Top Man , only thing wrong with him -he's not a Yorkie ! (lol).
