Big Bash final this morning.

It's the Sydney Sixers against the Perth Scorchers

The Sixers won the toss and will bat
Brett Lee balled the last over of today's match, which was the last over of his career. Scorchers needed 8 runs off 6 ball.
With the teams tied Brett Lee got two wickets in two balls.

So it was one to win for the Scorchers. The batsman pushes the ball into the outfield, they go for a suicide run and the captain fumbles the through into the stumps. As the Scorchers scramble a run to win.

Unbelievable
Sussex batsman Rory Hamilton-Brown has announced his retirement at 27 after failing to recover from a wrist injury.
Former England wicket keeper, Paul Downton has left his post as managing director of the ECB

The ECB is to create a new role of 'director of England Cricket' and a new man will be in place before the ashes series.
It looks like the new director of England cricket may be Andrew Strauss.

And this would make Pietersen's return more unlikely after their previous history
Jonathan Trott has announced his retirement from International cricket.

Sadly Rory never recovered from the death of Tom Maynard. If that had never happened i believe Tom would be in all of Englands teams now and Rory possibly captain of the limited overs sides.

If Strauss gets appointed it will be yet another yes man.
English cricket needs shaking up.
Hiring more yes men is not going to achieve that Rolleyes.
