New Zealand squeeze past South Africa in the 1st ODI, SA 208 all out NZ 209-9
I think we know where the SA & England priorities are and India for that matter.
We've now had 3 recent examples of teams not putting out hteir best 11 getting beat.Australia,England & South Africa.All because of the packed fixture list.

Yes could not agree more. To me the international fixtures are no longer as special because they are far too many. Less is more! It would also give the players more of a chance to play for their counties/team and improve the domestic game.
What could have been a close match in the 4th ODI between Australia & Sri Lanka,was abandoned due to rain after Australia posted 222-9 Sri Lanka were 14-0 after 3.2 overs when the rain stopped play.
New Zealands form in the ODI's has been an improvement after a poor showing in the Tests.They beat South Africa by 27 runs & take the series 2-0 with 1 match remaining.NZ 279-8 Williamson 145 not out.Sa 252 all out.South Africa looked on course at 167-1,but they lost their last 9 wickets for 85 runs including a record equalling 5 run outs.
Australia need to beat ski Lanka in the final ODI to tie the series.
Aus 247-5 hughes 138 not out.
Update - SL 215 all out
South Africa beat New Zealand by 1 wicket in the final ODI yesterday.NZ 260-9 Sa 264-9 Smith 116.Ryan McLaren hit a six off the final ball of the match with 3 runs required.
1st T20 between Australia & Sri Lanka
Australia 137-3 Warner 90 not out
Sri Lanka beat Australia by 5 wickets,7 with 7 balls remaining.
