Bangladesh beat New Zealand again today and take a 2-0 lead in 20/20 series, this comes on the back of beating Australia. Does this mean that they could be s danger at the world cup?or is it luck of the pitches they are playing on.

Moeen Ali has announced his retirement from Test match Cricket, at the age of 34, & a career than spanned 64 Tests.
2,914 runs & 195 wickets
Forget the averages, asked to bat from 1-9 in the order & often played as the only spinner, took his wickets at an impressive strike-rate, & got quick runs, an unselfish team-player & one of our best ever Test allrounders. If he'd been given a more defined role, England could've got so much more out of him, a difficult man to replace.
The 5 day Bod Willis Trophy at Lords between the 2021 County Champions Warwickshire & runners up Lancashire. The Bears won the toss & elected to bowl. At Lunch Lancashire are 57-8, only Bohannon with 17, & Wood 31 not out have got into double figures. Four batsmen made ducks, Craig Mi;es has picked up 4-25.

^^ & a Yorkshire overseas player. Hope the big man makes a recovery. I remember a day at Scarbados, & he was fielding in the slips, he had about 3 sweaters on & his hands didn't come out of his pockets for long. It can be baking hot one minute & feel like the Arctic the next when the wind blows off the North Sea.
Australia 's Test Captain Tim Paine has started early with the sledging. He's said that the Ashes will go ahead with or without Joe Root. Nowt to do with him, he needs to wind his neck in, which might be hard to do after undergoing surgery on a bulging disc in his neck. Quite apt, as I've always found him a Pain in the neck. He should be concentrating on his own game & team which he captained to a loss against India's 2nd string Test side. He an average captain & not a Test quality batsman. Still yet to make a hundred after 35 Tests & an average in the low 30's (Buttler & Bairstow average is not much better).
I see Australian pm has announced relaxing of COVID rules on travel from November 1sr, after lots of umming and aharring stating it's time to give Australians their lives back.
This seems very timely with the ashes coming up, I hope England make the right decision to tour or not,it's going to be tough enough to win the ashes without sending a second or third string squad there.Personally I think the ashes should be suspended until February or March next year give the team a break then send the best squad out there.
