^^ For anyone confused as to the name of the venue, Gqeberha, is the new name for Port Elizabeth, St. George's Park.
Despite what was said after the 1st Test, it was spin again from South Africa, after the first 5 wickets of the Bangladesh 1st innings falling to seam bowling, the next 15 went to the spinners. This time Bangladesh survived for 4.3 overs longer in their 2nd innings than the previous defeat, surly heads will roll after this debacle.
I see that Joe Root has resigned as captain of the test team.
Rob Key has left Sky TV and takes up the role of Managing Director of England's mens cricket.
I wasn't surprised Joe Root resigned I think it has been hard to maintain success and often wonder how Australia captains manage to make big scores as captain and still captain well. I think Ben Stokes probably was natural choice, but I do think being captain of England can be a highly pressured role to fill. I would like to think Stokes has the right mental approach to be captain and just hope he is given enough time to find his feet how does Root's win/loss record compare to other England captains? I have a feeling Root has lost more Tests
Brendon McCullum has been appointed England Men's Test Head Coach.
