There's an article on ESPN in which the WI CEO Johnny Grave calls for Australia, India & England to work with the ICC to change the economics of Test cricket.
As I've said, you are looking in the wrong place if you are just going to blame South Africa & West Indies for fielding under-strength sides. They have good reasons to do so.
The explosion of domestic T20 comps around the World is a runaway train. What started out as a way of protecting cricket as a whole, has all but killed Test Cricket.
The latest match is a Test Match in made only, it is not a test of the best, which it should be.
Shamar Joseph from Guyana had a dream debut, with the bat he made 36, which is the highest score by a West Indies No.11 on debut. The best was yet to come as he became the 2nd West Indies bowler to take a wicket with their first ball on debut, & the 23rd player in Test history. Later in his spell he dismissed Labuschagne who was caught in the deep hooking a short ball.
At 24 years of age, Joseph has played only 5 first class matches, 2 list A, & 2 T20's.

The reign of Perth Scorchers in the Big Bash League is over after a defeat to the Adelaide Strikers in the knockout stages in Perth.
Very poor efforts Perth have thrown up the last two games credit Adelaide for sticking with it despite there batting wasn't 110%
The T20 bandwagon keeps rolling along, with 4 domestic tournaments in progress at the same time.
