Yesterday was the first time in Test Match history that 4 games were in play at the same time.Twice before there has been 4 on the same date,but due to time differences not all in play.India v England, Australia v South Africa, Bamgladesh v West Indies & Sri Lanka v New Zealand being the four fixtures in question.
South Africa showed why they are the No.1 ranked Test side.With 4 wickets down needing 43
to win on the final day,they ground out a draw finishing on 267-8.Debutant Du Plessis score 11
not out off 376 balls.De Villiers made 33 off 22
deliveries.
Ashley Giles has been appointed coach of the ODI & T20 sides.Andy Flower Team Director will be responsible for the preparation & strategies,but Giles will run the day to day leadership of the limited over sides.

Australia 163 all out. South Africa 230-2 2nd Innings,lead by 292 runs.Smith & Amla added 198 runs before the former was dismissed on 84,a great catch by Lyon.Amla is 99 not out.hard to believe that the innings is only 38 overs old,with 3 days to go Australia look out of it.
Australia require 632 to win,finished on 40-0 at close of day 3.South Africa were bowled out for 569 in their 2nd innings.
