Oh you just crack me up Big Laugh

I looked at lunchtime and a ticket for the men's 100m final (etc) was at least £725. They sold out in minutes.
I guess I'm not surprised the 100m final event is so expensive. Its one of the Olympics most prestigious events, you could argue that it is the most prestigious event in the Olympics. I'm not surprised either that they have sold out so quickly, the 100m has always been a big draw for people

Although my post was aimed at the indoor events such as swimming, as there is clearly a lot of empty seats that can be seen. I'm not aware if any track events have had a lot of empty seats, but as I write this, I'm not sure if any track events have taken place just yet. In order to fill those seats, I believe the organisers are using troops, students and teachers to fill the seats.

Organisers Locog made 3,000 available tickets to the public, maybe I'm being foolish, but I hope these tickets are a cut price deal for people
oh forgot looking good in the 3 day eventing as well that finishes 2moro

Could it be or is Guinness and weed a bad combination for the mind

This photo was taken at the Olympics opening ceremony, some think its a UFO. But reading some comments they said there was a blimp around where the ceremony was taking place and also as you can see from the vid below its moving fairly slowly, which blimps tend to do. So in my opinion its a blimp

There are cheaper seats in the stadium for the night of the 100m finals which had already sold out, but as these are the reclaimed Prawn Sandwich brigade tickets, they are for the better seats and aren't being discounted.

This was true for all the other tickets that went on sale today. Some £60 ish but mostly at £725+. No discounts.
we were robbed of silver the gymnastics male team event after the japanese coach lodged an appeal after one his gymnasts fluffed his dismount on the pompel horse also earlier another japanese gymnast fell off. they were 4th when they lodged the appeal then went to 2nd and i wonder if they were 3rd would they lodged the appeal? if not they are sore losers and show no class and devalued the excellent perfomance of the gb mens team who got to a final and medal for the 1st in 100yrs.

Overhead coverage at the Olympics is provided by the Goodyear blimp, often seen at major Sports events.
