The Olympic Commitee named Muses' 'Survivor' as their Olympic Song for the 2012 games.
So to my amazement all the awards were presented to the tune of 'Chariots of Fire'.

Does anyone know why they had a sudden change of mind...

It has been suggested that the song's lyrics weren't the best to describe the 'Olympic Spirt'
“Winning isn’t everything, it’s the only thing.”

There never was a change of mind. Chariots of Fire was always going to be used for the medal ceremonies. The official Olympic song Survivor was played when athletes entered the stadium and at the end of every event.

Tonight's when we find out where the 2020 olympics will be held.

The choices are between Madrid, Tokyo, and Istabul.
I hope Tokyo wins it.
I hope Istanbul Tongue
According to a SSN report all 3 cities have major problems of one sort to solve, and asking which city is really best suited to hold the Olympics. The way I read it Istanbul will not get it, most would prefer Tokyo, but Madrid will probably get it.
Tokyo would be a fun host... But all the action would be during our night..
I can see the delegates wanting to make Istabul the first Islamic country to be awarded the games.
Madrid's out.

It's now between Istabul & Toyko
Madrid couldn't afford it. The prospect of the Olympic Stadium being several 5 man tents stitched together probably wasn't very attractive to the IOC.

Tokyo will win, IMHO.
