I mentioned earlier in the thread about how much easier it is for OFCOM to interfere with any live show concept. Some of the live show content on BSXtreme has clearly been perceived as R18 by OFCOM...
Here is a quote from the BBFC website for sex works at certificate 18:
"Sex works are works whose primary purpose is sexual arousal or stimulation. Sex works containing only material which may be simulated are generally passed ‘18’. Sex works containing clear images of real sex, strong fetish material, sexually explicit animated images, or other very strong sexual images will be confined to the ‘R18’ category. Material which is unacceptable in a sex work at ‘R18’ is also unacceptable in a sex work at ‘18’."
The BBFC are not as contradictory and inconsistent as OFCOM, but I remember finding this quote very ironic:
"In line with the consistent findings of the BBFC’s public consultations and The Human Rights Act 1998, at ‘18’ the BBFC’s guideline concerns will not normally override the principle that adults should be free to choose their own entertainment."
Although I've never agreed with the way business is generally done in this industry, it's clear how much the companies involved have had to dodge and weave due to the contradictions and restrictions imposed by the old fashioned, out of touch regulators/authorities in the UK.

I would only even think about parting with £5 if there was explicit live content AND a damn sight more than 2 10 minute slots. Or is it 5 minutes? Or just the one now? For that I expect 1-2 hours live content, minimum. Its just too easy to miss otherwise.
And Babestation are missing a trick because some of the time I still have company walking about for 5-10 mins after midnight. No way am I parting with money (again) to find Ive missed the live slot. People do not go to bed on exactly the hour, a TV show finishes then they start packing up.
