Yes it does. But there's evidently a demand for it, otherwise it wouldn't work.

The desperate measures they're using to promote it suggests to me that it isn't working. If it was working, just an occasional moderate reminder should be all that's necessary, not constant yapping from v/o girls and ads that explode out of the screen and speakers like stun grenades.

(23-09-2010 15:12 )skateguy Wrote: [ -> ]People who want specific content is the answer. People who want the occasional video and photoset of a specific girl. BSXtreme is much like this. In addition to the pretty lame 'porn' scenes that TVX also shows, they also broadcast exclusive softcore scenes of girls that are in high demand (due to them being on their babe shows).

A wopping total of two, or maybe three, girls so far according to my reckoning. (You can't count the porn girls whose h/c material is available much more cheaply, or even free for that matter, elsewhere.)

Their entire model of £6.99 per night or £9.99 per month, suggests that TVX believe that on average the customer isn't likely to pay for more than one nights viewing per month - otherwise they'd take a risk, and either scrap their monthly fee and bank on their customers paying for two nights, or raise the monthly fee above the cost of two nights viewing.

To me it suggests exactly the opposite - that they think the majority will watch several nights a month, maybe even 2 or 3 a week, but they're determined to fleece as much as possible from the occasional punter.

Erm...you've quoted me on something I said in reference to TVX's pricing structure - I suspect you're referring to BSXtreme in your reply though?

In any case, I see little point in over dramatising it by using phrases such as "fleece as much as possible from the occasional punter". Cellcast is a business and its objective like any other is to make as much money as it can. They've devised a pricing structure for BSXtreme which they believe maximises their ability to make profit. Those that want to purchase a night's viewing choose to pay. You think they charge too much which is fine as you have the choice not to purchase. Just because you think its too much doesn't mean they're 'fleecing' the customer though. Its just business.

Nope, I'm talking about TVX. The fact that their nightly price is 70% of their monthly one clearly suggests they expect most viewers to opt for the monthly one and have imposed a high nightly price to make as much profit as possible from what they expect to be a very small number of viewers. On the other hand, there's no monthly option for BSXtreme so their nightly price has to be lower if they expect anyone to watch more than once a month. Unfortunately they haven't pitched it low enough - which they now seem to have figured out, resulting in the ear-bashing I'm currently suffering from Megan plugging the new £3 offer.
Megan has evidently talked herself hoarse 'cos Lolly's been brought on as sub to continue the onslaught, wiping Ella off the screen into the bargain. annoyed
Houston we have a problem. Last night's show was so tame compared to the previous output as to look like BSX has been warned by the censors or tipped off that they are under investigation. Absolutely no muff diving, very little girl on girl and the briefest flashes of penetration. Never seen Lolly so restrained.
The none live segments were also much tamer. A Camilla and Ree show was cut to shreds and very badly lit. If this is the new level of output BSX is doomed.

The nightly price for TVX just like BSX is designed for the occasional dip in to a night of porn but thats where the comparisons end as the product for TVX is consistently better than the rubbish on BSX. If you are prepared to commit to a contract then its a better deal and makes BSX non compettitive.

I didn't watch last night so i'd be interested in other people's opinions. If they have toned it down then no one will buy even the live shows. If they were being investigated or warned to tone it down then the question arises how? Think about it - you have to purchase a pin number, you are warned that it is hardcore (although it's obviously not full strength) so you are hardly in a position to say that you were offended after going to the trouble of buying it. You may be offended that it wasn't true hardcore but that's another argument. Anyway I've just bought two of ree's hardcore dvd's down the shop so I won't be buying bsx tonight either.
I purchased the show last night , it was the first time i have seen the show since Camilla and Lolly did the live show a few weeks ago , that show was very good , last nights show in comparison was very poor , it was the tamest live show i have yet seen and the rest of the show was far more censored than normal as well , there was very few close ups compared to previous live shows of pussy's or bums and at no point did the girls do any pussy licking like they have always done on the live shows previously , it looks like some one has decided to drastically tame down the show for some reason , if this is the sort of highly censored show that will be broadcast from now on then i will not be wasting any more money on this show , i just hope last night's show was a one off mistake by Cellcast because i can't see the show having much of a future if the shows are going to be this tame from now on . I don't know how much regulation Ofcom has to do with this show because i believe BSXtreme also has the Dutch licence , the Dutch 16 cert sign is shown at the start of the show anyway .
I wonder if ofcom can ask for a free copy of the show, or would they have to pay £5 like everybody else. With all the financial cutbacks etc., they might not be able to justify paying for it. Smile
to be honest I even thought part of the reason why bsx videos couldn't be posted here was to prevent people using them to complain without having to purchase.
