Just wanna get you guys thoughts, can you ever find any justification for benoit to be included in the HOF... or do u view that as still a big no no for a murderer??
From the contributor and the role he played perspective absolutely, he was one of the standout workhorses and technically sound wrestlers in the most popular era of the business, however from a public trading company they are today and the contraversy that surrounded his death leads me to think its not going to be anytime soon but never say never.
I agree with what Legit has just posted but from what WWE have done, that is completely erase him from history as though he never existed.I find it difficult to believe they'll even acknowledge him again let alone induct him to the HOF.
Obviously what he did was horrific but I kinda feel for him especially when you consider mental health. The guy had the brain of a 80 year old with dementia... so was he ever in control of what he was doing??
We will never know but like u said legit for what he brought to wrestling he deserves something
I read an article on Benoit regarding his autopsy report and it said his heart(and other internal organs)was 10 times larger than it should have been due to his steroid and human growth hormone in take, the doctors concluded he would have been dead within a year anyway.Scary stuff.
Nope. Doesn't matter how good he was. He WAS a superb wrestler. But he's a murderer. A child murderer. He may've been fucked in the head, but that doesn't excuse or justify what HE did. His body of wrok is enough to appreciate. But a place in an irrelevant HOF....no, he doesn't need that.

Actually agree and have heard Stone cold and Chris jericho say the same on there podcasts they loved him as a wrestler and a friend and he should always be remembered as the great wrestler some would say one of the best ever technical wrestlers ever but those actions on that weekend cant be condoned
we will never know the real reason why he snapped theres a good podcast with nancys sister she did with Chris jericho
maybe was the loss of sevrel friends including the Big Boss Man and Eddie Guerrero and the grief of that mixed with the concussions turning his brain to mush or the other stuff lead to what happened
Should never be forgotten and never be wiped but used a lesson for wrestlers
