Hate to moan and complain but that's just how I see it this year
I know what you mean mate,I went to WM 15,17,24,25 and to experience it live is tremendous.I will say though, the live crowd reactions at 15 and 17 were much louder and more intense than 24 and 25.Then again,at those 2 manias I was too busy laughing at the abuse Cena got.
This years show doesn't hold much promise, due to the lack off effort in recent booking. The Shane/Undertaker and Vince angle has been piss poor so far,I'm hoping that they can at least have a decent match on the night.
That must have been some feeling to be at mania 17 the best show wwe has produced!!!
It was incredible bud,a genuine crowd of over 60,000.It was just none stop adrenalin all the way through. The reactions to the TLC match,Taker's entrance and the main event were phenomenal. Other than seeing Metallica,it was the greatest live entertainment spectacle I've ever witnessed, and I watched England beat Holland at Euro 96.
the only other match aside from shane v taker is lesnar v ambrose in a street fight if this was Lucha Underground they would have them in the crowd with weapons and falling/jumping structures with blood every where.
I hate to be so negative but, what a load of shit RAW was on the 21st.That they are booking TV programmes so poor this close to mania is mind bogglingly stupid. The Ambrose vs Strowman match was so shit that the crowd started chanting " This is boring." That chant sums up WWE for me these days. The highlight of the show was Kevin Owens/AJ Styles match which was going great guns until Jericho appeared and made Styles look inferior again. So predictable and lame. The sight and sound of Vince saying that Shane is gonna be the toughest challenge Taker will ever face was desperate and pathetic. I hate the way they always present Shane as a badass tough guy when in reality everyone knows he's a pussy. The worse thing though is they hardly have anyone on the current roster who are over with the crowd due to this lousy booking.
Also, with the exception of a few standouts, even NXT is getting a bit stale.
I agree that the product is beginning to become stale and has been for a long period now, usually the mania season picks up but even this has become the same as any other buildup, its as if the booking team are just going through the motions on a week by week basis with no long time goal, even with possible call ups post mania unless things change at the top its not going to mean a damn thing.
good start to raw shane o mac and undertaker have to say he's still got it
Dead Man turned 51 last week. Probably wondering why HHH gets one more title reign and he doesn't.
maybe cos he married into family and on the board lol
Its been the worst lead up to wrestlemania I've seen in a long time,The Undertaker vs Shane storyline could have been done so much better or they could have chose an active, full time member of the roster to rub shoulders with Taker and try and build up a new star but no,once again a MacMahon has to take centre stage and forsake some of the workers that could actually benefit from a match with Taker.
