Lesnar doesn't really fit that bill, I know he's only 36 but he's still been around for years and probably doesn't need to beat Taker to get the push. He can main event matches on his own merit. Maybe Taker's just had enough. As you say his near 50 year old body can't go on forever.
I hate that they're promoting really old guys like Batista. Christ, he could hardly move in the match at Elimination Chamber and on RAW last night too. That Orton match is really going to be shit at WMXXX.
This Taker-Lesnar is the only thing getting me intrigued about it so far because, oh I just don't know, it's so hard to call.
Taker VS Lesnar has me all kinds of excited. It's an awful idea because Brock isn't careful in the ring and doesn't look after his opponents, I mean the guy has injured (legit not that stupid broken arm crap) like 5 people since coming back.... But despite it's awfulness and the high probability of Taker being injured, I Still can't help but be ridiculously excited for it.
Brock should be WWE champion
only if he goes back full time, the rock hardly showed up when he was wwe champ last year

the rock basically became champ so he could show off the new championship, which was pointless
i've been hearing reports on wrestling sites that c m punk is gonna return on raw tomorrow and the reports also mention that he will be added to wwe title match at wrestlemania. this isn't 100% definite yet but with batista turning heel on smackdown on friday it does appear that the title match at wrestlemania will be a triple threat match. we'll just have to watch raw tomorrow night to find out.
Possible, but then again Raw is in Chicago so rumors are bound to spread
Really bored of WWE now, same old thing every show... I watched TNA last night, was 10 times better, the 3 way Tag match with Bromans, the wolves & bad influence was on par with Wyatts v Shield at Elimination Chamber..

tna will never get the credit it deserves until it is broadcasted on bigger channels especially in UK and US. I know this cant happen because skysports have wwe, but if tna was on SkySports then it would get the popularity it deserves
So who actually thinks Punk is returning tonight?
I hope he is, but wouldn't be suprised if its all hype

Tna impact wrestling does get the popularity it deserves I think. It is challenge tv's most watched programme and most of the time gets better ratings than wwe programmes.
I watch both tna and wwe and think tna is better. Wwe seem to be just using the same wrestlers over and over again and bring back what have been called "part-time" wrestlers like Batista and the new age outlaws. Whereas tna now seem to be giving promising new talent a push. Also wwe just wheel out the divas just to promote the total divas show and don't do anything properly with them whereas tna give their female wrestlers (the knockouts) proper storylines and matches (including streetfight and last knockout standing) and are looking to add new ko's like Santana Garrett
Regarding cm punk possibly returning tonight, could see it happening given raw is in punk's home town of Chicago, but wouldn't surprise me if it's just wwe hype to get people watching
