The CruiserWeight revolution was always likely to end up this way. If they do their stuff properly, they contrast with the other divisions. WWE would be advised to let them off the leash, but put them in different segments in the show, different hours. Otherwise if people realised that they were buried in the 2nd hour, ratings might spike noticeably. Move them around, make the shows must-see.
Of course "making the shows must-see" ought to be the top item on WWE's agenda every Monday morning. But I suspect it would just not occur to Vince in a million years. It's his way, or no way.
Perfect example of someone whom WWE employed but never liked enough to make best use of. Giving him a good character name was the only bone they threw him.
My take on Cody Rhodes exit from wwe, when he first come onto the scene the guy had so much potential and probably should have been a wwe champion, but I guess when wwe makes u dress like a clown with a stupid gimmick your bound to get pissed with no progression. Gonna also miss his gorgeous wife aswell!!
Spot on, in fairness to him he made it work and the fuckers still weren't happy.
Yeah I think he came to his crossroads in his career there, as mentioned he did everything that company wanted of him and got it over very similar situation to that of sandow, they are both better broadening the careers elsewhere where there talent is appreciated, wwe is no longer the place you need to go to be considered successful if you ask me.
I agree. He's perfectly suited to TNA and then perhaps ROH.
Yeah absolutely.
I get they want to be on the biggest stage and have their defining moments and perhaps even at mania, but these days you can be just as successful in star power and making money in japan or independently booking yourself like cody is doing right now, hope its a trend that continues with other guys that become dissatisfied.
Yeah,if you eat shit and like the taste,by all means stay in WWE but by being booked in a detrimental fashion could lead to a talent becoming worthless.
