I agree entirely. He was never great when he was in his 20s.Now I have no interest in him whatsoever, just a part timer who gets paid for doing fuck all.
Obviously no one gonna turn down the money his on but I just think sooner or later his just gonna get bored of wwe. Unless he wants to put the younger guys over time after time and unless he is a leader of a stable or something I struggle what to do with him.
His promos are dull,he phones it in and he really looks bored all the time.Unless he does the things that you just said i.e,putting younger talent over,I don't see what good he is?
Regarding Summerslam,Orton will more than likely carry him to a good match but really, so what?
the problem there is nothing for the viewer or crowd to get invested in unlike Lucha Underground where even the heels get cheered on by the crowd and I thing the PG rating is really hurting WWE. The only time I can remember that the all crowd got involved with a wrestler or storyline was the yes movement led by Daniel bryan on his way to winning the title at Wrestle Mania.
John Cena with his open us title challenge was the perfect vehicle for those from nxt to get over with the raw/smackdown crowd until he lost it. lesnar and cena or orton leading a stable of either younger guys from nxt and more established guys in the run up to the survivor series and beyond. the brand extension draft is the perfect vehicle for this to happen, I know they have done raw v smackdown before.
interesting ending with the macmahons. wonder if they gave Shane o mac smackdown because raw was doing so badly in the ratings.
and they see a way of changing things up a fresh on smackdown than raw with the 3 hours
fast forwarded thru the show was the same old apart from the battle royal for no 1 contender of miz's title Darren young is getting a push
Shane will probably leave sooner rather than later, being smackdown commissioner is good for him cuz it will still be regarded as a shit show so it will be easier for him to make a getaway.
who do you reckon for GM for each show
lot of talk could be daniel bryan for smackdown would be cool or maybe mick foley
also talk of bischoff returning to GM raw
Hasn't all this general manager shit been done before?
