Judging on the people who have been been promoted up in the past I would be in no rush to go there right now nxt is the brand to be a part of, another example again this week was looking at breeze on raw loosing like a nobody to titus, poor guy cant catch a break and was considered a credible wrestler beforehand.
It's worrying isn't it?
Could end up being worthless.I really hope it doesn't happen.
Indeed, its never good when from 3 hours of programming I struggle to be entertained.
I will admit golden truth had me laughing but I expect more from the flagship show than just a couple backstage segments.
Yeah, the emphasis should be on wrestling first and foremost. The backstage skits and angles should be there to back up the action in the ring.
For sure that should be the approach each time.
I think also theres an opportunity with ambrose right now, hes clearly over with the fans and his opening promo with brock was delivered very well given backing he could do good things for them.
He's always had great potential and his delivery of his promos is generally top notch.A young guy like this who as you wrote is over with the fans could do great things. He needs to be rubbing shoulders with guys of Lesnar's calibre more often.
Trouble is,as of late.It doesn't seem to matter how over somebody is,the wrong person ends up getting a push.
It helps that they havent rushed him to the main event either, he has had a couple solid matches and held the intercontinental over some okay fueds and is ready for the next step, been the exact opposite of that of roman reigns.
True.
If you look back over the years at the guys and gals who have made it to the top of the pile,Hogan,Austin,Goldberg,Mick Foley and the Rock.It all happened organically,it wasn't forced like it was with Triple H,Cena and Reigns. We picked them and accepted them over time.If they do it right with Ambrose, you could have a potential superstar.
Yeah it has been a trend and you only have to look at the popularity of those you mentioned to see the results, it is baffling the thought process behide some pushes but perhaps its a sign of the times. I look forward to NXT/LU tonight when I can sit back and enjoy.
I think your right,NXT and LU are far more enjoyable. At least we can watch repeats of Nitro and Raw from the glory days.
