I think he would have to join a very long queue.

I wonder how long that queue is? But in any case, mates like Clarkson and Evans wouldn't punch each other would they - unless it was on celebrity death match? I wish that there had been a UK version of that show!

Well, he punched Piers Morgan... Big Laugh

I see Evans is already quitting one BBC show to concentrate on his new pet project. Isn't that what got him in trouble last time? Rolleyes
But if Evans is using he own production company I don't know if it would be a problem..

Was it Clarkson or Evans who punched Piers Morgan? And will this new motoring show Clarkson is working will re - unite him with May & Hammond & the Stig? or is the Stig still under contract to the BBC?

Clarkson.

Whoever is currently playing the Stig may or may not still be under contract, who knows. The character of 'The Stig' is almost certainly trademarked or copyrighted or whatever to the beeb as part of the Top Gear package, as is the general format of the show itself, hence TFI pushed their luck with their 'Stink' character the other week. They were probably OK because that was a one-off, but if the three amigos re-unite and try to do a similar format show with a similar Stig-like character, it may well end up in the courts.
Id be very careful if i were chris evans see he was slagging jeremy clarkson about voices in his head. said its gonna take them until spring to bring top gear back im guessing Clarkson Hammond and May along with andy wilman could prob have stuff shot and done for late autum / Christmas time
Reading that Mirror article and all the other publicity since Evans announcement, and it's all about him, HE is presenting, the others will be his 'co-hosts' (i.e. lesser beings), HE is holding auditions, not TG/BBC, but HIM, on the 'snub' from the big name, HE can't give the job to just anyone, like HE is employing them, not the BBC, it's all about him.

R.I.P. Top Gear, all hail The Chris Evans Show (with maybe a few cars, if they can fit in the studio alongside his ego).

Bored with it already, not interested anymore, stick your show where the sun don't shine, waiting/hoping for an announcement from Jezza and co.
Coincidence fans might like to know tonight's BBC 3 Top Gear repeat is the one with the film about Lancias, and the special guest... Chris Evans Wink
The BBC will soon regret letting Evans have total control over the shows fo0rmat and I am certain that one thing almost certainly NOT feature with Evans (and whoever he chooses) will be the sort challenges the Three Amigos did... i.e, Bolivia special, Burma Special, etc...Probably the furthest they will do will be going is likely a complete circuit of the M25!!
I wil only watch the new top gear on someone elses tv..so when I lob cans at prick "look at the size of my ego" evans head..its someone else's telly busted!annoyedannoyedannoyed
