Has a contract been officially out on Top Gear themselves?

just to correct you, before the argies put a contract out on you too..... it's 'las malvinas'. Tongue

just to correct you, its actually 'Islas Malvinas' Rolleyes

Just to correct you its actually The Falkland Islands.
^^^Thank you, I did that joke Wink

Clarkson reckons they were stitched up. Presumably unless Argentina had the nous to impound the cameras etc, we'll see the results in due course on BBC2 and be able to judge for ourselves.
I read that this Argentinian episode (escaped) is not going to be shown until next March. Huh
Yeah, they seem to have the trend of running a Christmas special at the end of their own series, thus allowing for a longer running time (looking at the extras on YT from Burma and the Nile search one, they clearly have more than enough material to do this).

By then they probably will change their mind and not show it for fear upsetting another South American ambassador.

I wonder if the number plates were real and were made up
specially to order by Clarkson and co themselves just to see how much more controversy they could get away with.
I still wonder how much of contract exists still in Mexico.
When the Argentinian police searched Clarkson's abandoned Porsche, they found another set of plates hidden inside it :

They're not going to say that was a coincidence too? Wink

Here's the story http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-...ealer.html
Just had a read of this. I like the comment about guilt being more newsworthy than the truth, sums the press in this country up very well.....

If it's such a genuine number plate why can't Webuyanycar find it when I type it in as my car as if I'm trying to sell it?
James May was interviewed the other day on Absolute Radio and he categorically denied that TG set out to trivialise the 1982 military conflict - and the number plates that were on the cars they used were a total coincidence.
