Steve Berry another ex TG presenter said how hard it is to do a Car programme on an advertising funded channel - too much criticism of the manufacturers and they threaten to pull advertising. Also how likely are Lambo, Ferrari and Bugatti to lend their cars to a new programme that doesn't have the following that TG has?
I guess a new test track would be needed to - although not owned by the BBC it's tied into TG a lot!

On BBC3 last night was the one when Clarkson and May went to China and Chinese Stig did the time trials although he spent most of his time beating up producers, cameramen and May - I'd call that ironic.
