Chelsea are 12 pts off relegation with 7 games to go, 5 of them are against Arsenal, City, United, Brentford & Newcastle. The other 2 are against Bournemouth & Forest both teams will be fighting for their lives and Bournemouth got a win away to The Spuds today

Its unlikely that the teams below them would be able to make up that much pts but given its hard to see where they can get any points in those 5 matches they will be really close to the drop come the end of the season
Pochettino is finally announced as the new Chelsea manager.
Yes the Pochettino era has begun. A big decision straight away - João Félix will not be joining Chelsea permanently and has returned to Athletico Madrid.
I think it's time to reactivate this thread now, since we're in a cup final. The chronic injury list seems to be easing too, so that's another big plus.
Yes a cup final and Liverpool the opponents again, for the 3rd time in a row. As for the injury list, some signs of it easing yes but for now we've still got more injuries than anyone else in the PL.
The last 6 matches played at Stamford Bridge have produced 33 goals (5.5 per match). Despite conceding at least twice in all 6 matches, Chelsea still managed to win 4 of them.
Everton are thumped 6 -0 by a rampant (only time I can use this word Big Grin ) side.

there was a few things to take from this match.

Cole Palmer scores yet another 4 goals, and is now level with Haaland on 20 goals.
He really should be an ever present in the England team.
It's the worse ever defeat by Sean Dyche.
There seems to be a probable with on field disipline regarding who takes their penalties. Poj needs to lay the law down.
I was HUUUGE Cole Palmer fan. Brilliant footballer.

Then I heard him speak.

Yikes.

A triumph of the football academy system. A damning indictment of our educational system.
It's amazing that we can have 14 players injured and still manage to put a credible team out and even win a match. Was our bench for the last match the Premier League's youngest ever - average age 20 if you include the goalkeeper, average age 18 if not.
