Well after a top 4 race that changed constantly over the last couple of months we end up qualifying for next season's Champions League with a game to spare. I've got to say that a couple of months ago I thought 6th place was where we'd finish and I really didn't have much hope of making the top 4.
That Sarri chap is perhaps not so bad after all?
Well we ended up 3rd in the league, top London club, plus we reached 2 cup finals as well. Not a bad season, Sarri can say it's been a success, but the football at times has been terribly dull. I still think on the whole that he shouldn't be given another season and we need a fresh start with someone else.

In Sarri's defence, he's gone through the season without a single top quality striker, as Morata and Higuan have not been adequate and Giroud is a good player but not the goalscorer we need, and we still managed to finish ahead of Arsenal, Tottenham and Man Utd, all of which have much greater firepower.

Chelsea legend Rob Green lifts the trophy! Did he ever play for you in this competition?

Rob Green didn't play for us in any competition, he only appeared in friendlies. He's left the club now, as he announced his retirement yesterday.

It looks as though Sarri is likely to depart too, and will become the next coach of Juventus, so I think one more picture from Baku is called for.

Reports are that Chelsea have accepted a bid from Real Madrid for Hazard, three different figures reported from three different outlets ranging from £88m to £130m.

This will be the least surprising transfer story of the window if it goes through, the question is do Chelsea split the money for 2 or 3 good players or spend it all on another potential Hazard?

I thought that Chelsea were serving a transfer ban - in which case they won't be spending the money in either way.
