Whatever he was thinking, Fabregas has got away with a 1 match ban, as the FA have decided that the usual 3 match ban would be excessive in the circumstances.

It's good that such an outstanding player as Cesc Fabregas won a Premier League title at last, at the 9th attempt after 8 seasons at Arsenal.

Chelsea only lost 4 of their 54 matches played in all competitions during 2014/15 - a club record lowest number of defeats.
Plans to redevelop Stamford Bridge into a 60,000 capacity stadium mean Chelsea would have to play home matches elsewhere for 2 seasons.
Some of the press are saying it would be 3 seasons.
Gaël Kakuta has left Chelsea after 8 years at the club and 16 appearances. He has signed for Seville and today is his 24th birthday.
