Chelsea win the League Cup!

Jose Mourinho has stated that Chelsea captain John Terry will be offered a new contract by the current Premier League leaders at the end of the season.

Chelsea have been crowned European Youth champions 2015 after beating Shakhtar Donetsk 3-2 to win the UEFA Youth League final in Switzerland yesterday.

Maribor were beaten 2-0 at home and 7-0 away

Schalke were beaten 4-1 before a 2-0 away loss

The PFA team of the season has been announced. Eden Hazard, Diego Costa, Nemanja Matic, John Terry, Gary Cahill and Branislav Ivanovic are all named in the best XI, although Cesc Fabregas isn't included despite having 16 assists to his name in the league this season.

As well as the 6 Chelsea players selected, Ryan Bertrand gets in the team as an ex-Chelsea player. In fact he was a current Chelsea player at the start of the season and only joined Southampton on a permanent basis in January after impressing the Saints during a loan spell.

The goalkeeping position could have gone to Chelsea too, if only Thibaut Courtois had even half as many saves to make as David De Gea has for Man Utd, particularly during the early part of the season. The other selections are Harry Kane, Alexis Sanchez and Philippe Coutinho.
