Jose Mourinho's first ever league defeat at Stamford Bridge....to bottom of the league Sunderland.

LOL

Bounce
Chelsea need Eden Hazard back, they are ordinary without him. When will he be fit? And considering today's result, what team are Chelsea going to play at Anfield next week? I suspect it will be a much changed one.

Losing to Sunderland is better than losing to Arsenal, Tottenham, Man Utd etc etc. When we've lost this season at least we've lost the right way, to clubs which don't really matter, the likes of Sunderland, Villa, Palace etc.
How much more do Chelsea need to spend before the little horse becomes a stallion?

It should always matter when your team loses. Had Chelsea won against those teams mentioned then the title would be heading to Stamford Bridge.
Love the Chelsea physio. She's a sexy little sweetheart.

I'm not saying that defeats don't matter. I'm saying that losing to Sunderland (or whoever's bottom of the table) isn't as bad a blow as losing to a direct rival. I'd rather beat Arsenal 6-0 (which we did) and lose to Sunderland 2-1 (which we did) than have those results happen the other way around.
It wasn't Chelsea's fault they lost yesterday.... it was the Ref Wink Mourinho certainly knows how to loose with class..

Strange logic to say the least. No matter what team you lose to, you're rivals gain from it so it's equally as bad. For example Chelsea lost to Sunderland and Liverpool then went on to beat Norwich, Chelsea lost to Palace and Liverpool went on to beat Spurs, Chelsea lost to Villa and Liverpool went on to beat Man Utd. Right there, 9 points lost to Liverpool from defeats that supposedly "aren't as bad a blow" as losing to a direct rival.
