3 - LANCASHIRE
The lads spend half the time somewhat in my neck of the woods, and the rest down Ormskirk way, which is very very southern Lancs. They covered Ormskirk's bloody potatoes years back on their series visiting counties around Britain too.

As the episodes drain away like sands in an egg timer, the lads learn that salt and pepper chips involve bits of pepper rather than ground pepper, fail to plug scallops from the Isle of Man, and go all hydroponic but in a legal way.

Shogun, episodes 1 and 2.
Amazing stuff, it's a historical drama set in 1600's Japan.
Quote:Shōgun follows "the collision of two ambitious men from different worlds and a mysterious woman samurai; John Blackthorne, a risk-taking English sailor who ends up shipwrecked in Japan, a land whose unfamiliar culture will ultimately redefine him; Lord Toranaga, a shrewd, powerful daimyō, at odds with his own dangerous political rivals; and Lady Mariko, a woman with invaluable skills but dishonorable family ties, who must prove her value and allegiance".
It's mostly in Japanese with subtitles and the English/Portuguese is in English, as the character John speaks Portuguese.
It also has Hiroyuki Sanada in it as Lord Toranaga, so it's worth watching just for him, he's probably my favourite actor, love him in whatever he's in.
