The Toys that made Christmas
A decent and fun documentary hosted by Robert Webb with opinions from loads of the usual talking heads who turn up on these sort of things. It went way back showing beloved toys from my mum's generation through to the stuff I received on the big day during the 80s.
The Royal Variety Performance
Well, some of it was good anyway.
The Pretender Ep 18 “Unhappy Landings” Season 1
The Undiscovered Kenneth Williams
A bit better than the Sellers one in terms of actual new material, and a better interviewee (Stanley "it'll be my turn one day" Baxter).
The Dead Room
A brilliant old school ghost story written by Mark Gatiss and starring Simon Callow as a seasoned radio presenter Aubrey Judd, who during a routine recording of a horror tale is haunted by the ghost of a friend who died tragically in his past.
Mock the Week Christmas special
Silliness with Polaroids, and a horrendous toy unicorn...
Young Justice Ep 12 “True Colors” Season 2.
Man V Food S1 - EP14.
The Malt Milkshake Challenge at Crown Candy Kitchen. To win Adam Richman must drink five 24-ounce malt milkshakes in 30 minutes, a challenge which has been offered by the restaurant since 1913.
The milkshakes were divided into fifteen 8-ounce glasses for Adam and he started out strong, really going for it as he normally does when tackling a challenge of this epic proportion, sailing through the first 5 glasses but things started to take a turn for the worse as the challenge went on, the pace slowing and the colour in his face started to turn worringly white!!, he even made it to the last 5 shakes but in the end, there was a grab for the nearest silver bucket, a quick cut to the logo and a dash out the nearest exit!!
I loved his era of MvF. The ones with Alice Cooper, and an early episode in Ohio are my favourites.
