Storyville: The Truffle Hunters
A few really old blokes in Piedmont (Italy) with faithful dogs on the search for an over-desirable food-stuff, and some of the lesser characters in that idiotic world.
Sky Arts: 'The Art Of Architecture'
The Footage Detectives
A long piece about a pirate radio station which broadcast from near Scarborough. But seemingly not with anyone famous.
SKY ARTS (by far the best channel on the tv)
BOTTICELLI Florence and the Medici!!
Two hours of grown up, intelligent and fulfilling viewing!! Obviously the painting I guess most people would reference 'Birth Of Venice' featured heavily, but Botticelli was one of those artists whose work extended well beyond. My personal favourite over and above the afore mentioned, is 'Primavera' - just stunning in its' execution.

5/6 Florence and Tuscany
Stan and family came there 50 years ago, so he brought his parents back. There was a lot about the Medicis, beans, wheat, wine windows, "poor food" and gander meat.
ST - SfI
6/6 Sicily (and Lampedusa)
Timballo, arancini, bottarga, eggplant pasta, fig pecker sardines, donkey carpaccio and hand-wringing about refugees in a graveyard of boats.
What an excellent series.
Picard s2 ep 7
I thought that was Dr Bashir at first, but it was the guy who played Dr. Gaius Baltar from Battlestar Galactica. I always got those two actors mixed up
Falklands War: Eyewitness
2 episodes on Forces TV with various surviving combatants telling their stories, which were often grim, but ultimately positive.
Clive James meets Katharine Hepburn
Unexpected repeat from 1985. Despite shutting down some of his questions, she still happily answered plenty of others.
