Tyson Slocum reports on energy. Whilst Namibia is going forward with solar power, California is going backward with fracking.
Slocum returns to discuss why the Texan energy crisis was the fault of privatisation, and an unwillingness to "Winter-ise" their system.

Star Trek Lower Decks Ep 7 “Much Ado About Boimler” Season 1.
Banksy and the Rise of Outlaw Art
Impressively informative; a lot of funny, clever ideas.
Ben Fogle - Inside Chernobyl
I understand why some would prefer a drama version, but this was effective enough for me. Curious to know that Stalkers are the name for illicit thrill-seekers (even if Ben didn't mention Tarkovsky). Even more that wolves, moose and other wildlife are among the unintentional natural reclamation of "the Zone".
Star Trek Lower Decks Ep 8 “Veritas” Season 1
The Office (US) Season 2 ep 1
Took me awhile to get into it first 3 episodes of season 1 done nowt for me, episodes 4 onwards much funnier

pt 5 of 6 - into a pop star's flower chamber (!), then worries about how China might encroach on life and change things forever, and washing a elephant.
pt 6 of 6 - Bhutan, and Bangladesh. An entertaining enough series, though whether it coheres is maybe up to personal taste. As an effort to show there's a lot more to the area than just Everest, then I suppose it succeeded.

4 - Sahara
Again odd to see which episodes were featured more than others, even with only 4 to work with. The last one was barely mentioned. They did bring up 9/11 happening. Palin's final comments in Gibraltar seem as pertinent now as in 2002, about the folly of trying to lock your enemies out; something the US and UK obviously disregarded.
Michael Palin's Journey of a Lifetime
5 - Himalaya
Not sure for the title change, but also 50% longer, and yet with less outside contribution (though bloody Lumley and Attenborough still got to add their $0.02, although it was more like $0.01 really).
