A good case for having more than one seeker at a time. They found Dutch intrigues and slave owning, and then Indonesian romance. In the latter, they considered whether they got talking over fortifications, but were too well-mannered to suggest a possible opening along the lines of "allo, darlin', you've got a nice buttress".

How to probe into the family tree of the world's richest Beatle without either wasting his time, or his kids? Simples! Mind you, his brother Mike is more willing to play along.

I think this was repeated last week to mark the centenary of the great polymath.
Repeated again, watched again, enjoyed again. Bill Nighy did the narration. Ustinov's views on the value and inevitability of being European seem sadly to mean little or nothing in our current politics.

Isa frae Still Game narrates a look at the modest world of shinty, for people who think hockey is for softies. Kingussie were focussed on, which was lucky because they won all their trophies and the league that year.

The Great, season 3 episode 10.
Definitely worth watching, funny, violent, sex, intrigue and some historical fact, some historical fiction. Based on the life of Catherine the Great, Empress of Russia. Great cast all playing their parts well, I am a bit miffed that I had to download it due to them switching where it was shown in the UK, but hey ho. Grabbed it and enjoyed it.

Not 1 but 2 sets of Irish republicans on his mother's side, and then a sweet romantic battle in Jamiaca on his father's side.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Season 2 episode 7.
Having never watched the animation, I didn't know what to expect with this crossover episode, but it was good, straightforward and not too complicated.
Might check out Lower Decks at some point, because it seems like it'd be a lot of fun..
Sue Perkins - My Favourite Sketch
Some overlap here as she was an old mate of presenter Sally Phillips, and picked a few people who were contemporaries too. Dave Allen was included for once.
