Constantine Series 1 Ep 01;
Only noticed this series premiere on Fox by chance last night (Tuesday)which see's John Constantine (played by Matt Ryan) an eccentric (with a slight cockney-accent) Demon Hunter, Exorcist & Supernatural Detective (a sort of Jack-of-all-Trades) who before making guest appearances in DC's Arrow & Legends of Tomorrow had a pilot series of his own (before it was cancelled).
Considering the whole concept/history of John Constantine & his battles with demons the supernatural & exorcisms this series was never going to be family-friendly like the other DC series like Arrow,The Flash etc.Episode 01 see's John come out of retirement when he see's a young woman stalked by a demon Furcifer (who has the ability to manipulate electricity).
Tbh as first episodes go I quite liked it & was a bit gutted to learn that the series was later canned (due to poor viewing figures) as I've always found the whole mystique around the John Constantine character an interesting one with Matt Ryan stamping his own authority with the character a good choice of cast (I even quite liked the Keanu Reeve's film version).
