ITV do their Black History Month with the 2 guys from Red Dwarf doing the voiceover for a look back at comedy highlights from Charlie Williams through to Famalam. Nice to see the love for Desmonds and the Real McCoy, with blues legend Ram John Holder among the THs.
Mo Gilligan - Black, British & Funny
Channel 4 get on the bandwagon, largely with folk who won't get a chance in a predominantly white meedja landscape (though they too gave props to the Real McCoy).
Taskmaster.
Jumping ship from Dave to Channel 4 for the big bucks, a la Bake Off.
Early to tell but seems same apart from everyone sitting socially distanced in studio.
The contestants usually make or break it, even if some of the tasks ideas seem to have become a bit stale after 9 series (yes 9 !)
And therein is partly revealed Channel 4's interest ? They have acquired an enormous back catalogue of repeat episodes they can spread across their thin schedules on E4, More 4, All 4, What the Hell's this 4, and all the other channels.
And presumably we can look forward to "...Meets Gogglebox / Countdown / Naked Attraction" mash ups in future.
L.A.‘S Finest Ep 5 “Gone In 60 Seconds” Season 2.
Star Trek Discovery Ep 2 “Far From Home” Season 3
