is anyone having problems with the 914 webstream at the moment? one second its with alice and then its cara lying on there bed where shes obviously doing 241 on 965 with hannah m
also my recordings are laggy and jerky and the kbs keeps dropping from 70kb to 50-55kbs

I have contacted Alan about this, and the previous problems mentioned here. I will let you, and everyone else know what happens, when he gets back in touch with me.
The sudden drop off in bit-rate has been a problem for quite some time, and it seems to be the cause of the lock-up's, and picture break-up. But solving it is becoming harder to do than diagnosing it.

I mentioned this time lag problem as well to both Alan and Jamie. But I can see quite a few of you have been experiencing it, since Danica's last show.
But I still have not had a problem with it myself. So I can't quite figure out what's going on, because if were both watching the stream from the same source at the same time, how can you be watching something different to me.
It just doesn't make sense. I can't even think of a way that it can happen, because the players own buffer can't store that much. And if it's the stream provider that causing the delay, then why doesn't it affect everyone.
It's something that's only happened since Danica's last show, So Alexxxi may be right, and it is interference from there ipod transmission. As that is the only thing new that started at around the same time.
Alan said that if you experience the stream delay again could you please report it using the streams report system, as then he can gain info on the state of the stream at the time of the incident. Thanks.
I have supplied him with as much info as I could from all the previous mentions on here, and he is looking into it. As for it being related to the ipod streaming, he is going to check on that as well.
I'll try and keep you informed as much as possible, but there is a lot going on this week at Elite, so there may be a slight delay.
