Webstream 2 is flip-floppity crap. Working then not working.

Other stations: Downtime of 1 night every few months.

S66: Lucky if they can manage a week without problems. Tonight was barely 48hrs since the last webstream problem.

Other stations..

two days back Playboy Stream was down all day, and all 3 RLC streams had problems, yesterday Playboy stream was on/off others were ok, today Playboy stream was down for a few hours then was fine

So yes while Stream 2 on S66 is funny again it's not like others are only once a few months now.
Well. RLC's last few days are an anomalous exception since, I'd say 95% of the time, they have no issues with their streams. If RLC's streams failed consistently on a weekly or monthly basis, I'd chew them out too.

However, with the "supposed" Revamp to S66 in May. Their streams holding steady for a week has been a flip of a coin. Failing on weekends and even on weekdays now.

I mean. Nothing is running on webstream 3, but the S66 logo. Nope. Can't use the working stream. Gotta drive more viewers to the other stations I guess even when they are down a girl for the night.
You said one night every few months only reason I mentioned as it was 3 days in a row, I'm not against you just stating facts S66 should be using the working stream not hard to switch over if not they definitely need to upgrade their web service providers and such, I never heard of the 'revamp' but it clearly wasn't true unless it was for that new picture site they have coming.
RLC rarely has problems. Having a issue that takes all of their streams down for a night and then them struggling to get them all back up in a timely manner is understandable. O, a big problem. They'll get right on to fixing that. If this same problem happened to S66, and they properly fixed it afterwards, I'd forgive them.

The "revamp" was S66 switching over to Vuecall from Viopay and webstream providers the same as Babestation I believe at the start of May. Since the switchover, stable webstream service seems to be a running gag for the weekends for them.

Having a problem and fixing it is what most channels do. S66 seems content with slapping the machine that isn't working instead of outright finding out what the problem is and either fixing/replacing it.

When you have a ongoing repeating problem now that has stretched on for 3 months and still goes on. Kind of makes you wonder how bad their cash flow situation is that warrants this type of service towards its customers.

I mean to give an example of what S66 is doing:

When your car has a blowout. You take out your spare tire and get yourself back up and running. You also understand that getting a new tire should be a priority as using as spare tire is only good for a quick bandaid solution.

S66 is basically using this "spare" as an actual tire without understanding that "spare tires" have serious limitations and drawbacks. Getting a real tire shouldn't be hard or impossible.

I mean at least it would stop me from coming to this thread to post how poorly their webstream is doing so often.
Like I said I don't disagree, but I love how you talk about cash flow etc as if you know how much they have, is there any proof of this revamp being talked about? the Vuecall thing certainly happened as it's on their webcams etc, but not sure about the web server upgrade talk and where that came from.

Meh.
Well. the webserver upgrade talk comes from if this was a problem specifically with the streaming service provider. BS would also be having the exact same problems occasionally since they use the same provider.

That and you seem to have misquoted me on the cashflow point. I said:

^^ That is a hypothetical question. I didn't claim any knowledge, but a decent webserver usually doesn't break most companies banks.

The viopay to vuecall thing was S66's move to make it so callers of BS and S66 used the same payment provider, so I guess there could be cross pollination of customers flowing both ways? It affected online customers calling in, webcams and payment processing. Not simply webcams.

As for your "proof" of the revamp.

This was my post towards the end of April as they were updating the website to accommodate all the changes. Had I known a person would want a screenshot of what their old website looked/worked compared to the current new one. I'd have one for you. The revamp has already happened. It has been 3 months into the "new" site.

The new website has a lot of quirks the old one had resolved before. Best guess is that it was a old backup used with all the new features of vuecall crammed into it.
Thanks for that, and I guess it was the way you worded it, web servers are cheaper these days they sure should upgrade or sort out the issues, and it sure could be an old backup with these problems.
Is anyone's Webstream 2 working tonight?

I guess I'll be missing Kandi's possiby nakey session tonight. Sad

That buggy webserver finally kicked the bucket I guess. annoyed
And. a few hours into the night. The webserver for webstream 2 is fixed.

I guess they finally noticed something was wrong? or people complained? or the amount of calls for a weekend seems low?

Lets hope this isn't another bandaid fix.
Anyone seeing webstream 1? It went down a little while back today and I haven't seen it up since.
