Latest 914 problem: the tab is there but there's no picture

it seems to be okay for me now

Well, three days on since I last posted, and still not much improvement in the service.

Both streams at present seem to be losing connection all the time, causing the stream to lock-up and stutter all the time. OK for capping, but useless for recording video clips.

Still not sure why I'm even bothering to complain anymore, as Jamie or Elite have not even been on the forum for over a week. So they will still be none the wiser, just how many people they have pissed off.

I'll give it a few more days, and then I'll just give it up as a bad job, and move on.

For me there is no problem viewing streams initially but I hate how it gets cut off after a min or so because Im not a "member". I was wondering if there was another version of the stream that can be accessed interrupted, but have found nothing so far that works via Google.

Man I want to actually the girl if I call them and every min I have to refresh the browser! Pls help

I see the fade in box showing who is on the other channel is back is it really needed ? It just stops me from capping until it disappears i wouldn't mind so much if it was only on for five mins but its been up for 20 mins now.

I think it's been on almost continuously on channel 914. rendering it useless for caps or vids.

I would much prefer it not be used at all on the webstream, but 2 or 3 min's at the start of session, just to inform you of a new session starting would be enough.

Having it on permanently is just too distracting to watch, and quite frankly, is disrespectful to the babe that is on channel 914.

I recently sent another E-mail to Alan and the Technical crew at Elite, in regards to the recent issues that had cropped up, as I began to notice that Elites accounts were seldom online on this forum.

This was Alan's response, which I thought you would like to be aware of.

I'll bring this up tomorrow ... but as I've said before, any tech issues need to be directed directly to us. I've not been made aware of any recent issues and its not effective or efficient to have go hunting for them on a public forum. I will always aim to resolve issues in a timely manner but can only deal with those that reach me.

The streaming performance is something I'll revisit with our provider and it may be worthwhile creating a page/form that can report any issues directly to their tech support people as they occur. This will also give them accurate time-information on when the issues are occurring which should aid in identifying the cause. As for the tab-switching, that's something that's done by the show producers as girls/channels come on and off air. I'll pass on a reminder that it is crucial that this is carried out accurately.

It may be that we create a network status page or such that will make users aware of any current issues.

As you can see, I was correct in my assumption that they were unaware there were any problems with the stream. So according to Alan, if you spot any faults in the future, you need to send the details of the fault directly to their Tech crew, so they can get to work on it.

Had a bit of a Idea but if some ideally had the time would it be any benefit if say someone checked this thread on say a friday night then check from say the previous sunday an then writes down all the problems that have been reported in this thread up to that friday in a email an then send it off that way we will know that come rain or shine that all webstream problems will be reported to elite by the end of each week sorta like a weekly report.

How about a seperate thread?...Something Like "Elite TV Webstream Issues - *NO CHAT* "

A new post starts each Monday with each poster giving a Concise description of the problem with Channel/Stream No & Time/Date. Any subsequent posts MUST copy & paste any preceding issues into their new post to form a list.


e.g. Poster #1 - Elephant strolled across screen and had a dump on the desk, thus causing Dionne to leave. Thursday 01:30 ish

The list is closed at Midnight on Sunday then e-mailed off to Elite's Tech bods.

Once closed it could be locked / deleted by the Mods then a new one started for the week.
