I may well be wrong, but I
think 'escorting' came around as a way of side-stepping the prostitution laws. You would book an escort for an evenings 'companionship' only, a dinner date, a pretend girlfriend or whatever, no monkey business involved, any such 'extra curricular' activity was purely between you and the lady concerned, a private arrangement nothing to do with the perfectly legitimate agency you went through.
These days, the laws regarding prostitution have changed, and generally speaking, it is no longer illegal, hence the agencies openly advertising, and websites like adultwork where girls can openly advertise themselves.
So, these days escorting is really just a polite way of saying prostitution. If you book an escort today, you are booking a lady for sex plain and simple.
Of course, that may all be bollocks, this is just my personal opinion, but that's how I see it

Prostitution is not illegal however many of the activities surrounding it tend to be. The whole thing is very strange like working at a brothel is kinda fine but running a brothel is illegal. Prostitution is legal but soliciting and advertising are usually illegal.
In theory the difference between a prostitute and an escort is huge, one you pay for sex the other to spend time with, in reality there are few escorts that are not simply selling sex.
I'm sure there are upper class girls who play the date, charm your friends and colleagues and give you an amazing experience but I can't imagine that's what many are selling especially when doing say a 30 minute incall.
what does the term "in call" and "out call" mean then? and how did you go about starting your use of escorts?
incall = you visit them at a flat/apartment/whatever
outcall = they visit you at your home/hotel room

There are babe channel girls openly advertised on the agencies, or on adultwork, charging similar rates to these 'unknowns', so if that is what you are after, you'd be better off looking for those rather than picking random girls and hoping for the best.
