American TV shows are brilliant for hot women, every show always has at least one, every time I see an add on Sky one/Atlantic or E4 i'm like "Hello"

The DC Universe has been good as well bringing in Odette Anabelle has been brilliant, House is my fave TV show and I had a great year with her, Melissa Benoist and the woman who plays Iris West are my faves
Episode 3.6 reminds me of those episodes Dr Who used to do which were purposely low budget and scarcely featured the regular cast, for which a derisory term was coined and which I've now totally forgotten.

It's a nice one-off (?) idea, although I kinda miss the previous Young Kara and I still rue the recasting for Erica Durance (which was a surprise turn in this episode, but justified really well).
I believe the term you are looking for Doddle, is a " bottle episode. "

Nah, this was Dr Who, it was more insulting than that Tongue
I'm dedicating a few hours of my Sunday to catching up with this show.
I have the last 3 episodes of season 2 to watch then I'll watch the first ep pf season 3, I think.
Funny how with on demand services, we go, "Oh, I'll watch it tomorrow, then end up not bothering for weeks. Back in the day, if you missed an episode of your favourite show & forgot to record it, you had to make sure you were home for the repeat of the episode or otherwise, you'd have to wait for the DVD boxset to come out Blush

Back in my day, if you missed it, you missed it, and you stood no chance of a repeat, never mind a video, a DVD, or Internet catch-up shocked
Episode 3.7 was rather action-packed, and even the subplot with Jonn & his dad was worthy.

I did get a glimpse of Mon-El's return when the episode was on, so I thought the revelation of the spaceship was a nice swerve for those still waiting for the tease from the end of the last series. Some of his story was still a bit silly (so, L-Corp survives another 4 centuries..?)

But best of all was Sam's odyssey as she slowly found her own truth. I really marked out for the creation of her own Fortress, the sort of inversion that would normally go by the board. This seems more intriguing than I recollect either Teri Hatcher's drivel from last year, or the one from the 1st series being. Time will tell, I guess Smile
Ep 10 “Legion of Superheroes” Season 3 synopses

Struggling to heal from her injuries inflicted by Reign (Odette Annable), Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) remains in a dreamlike state, unable to be reached. Mon-El (Chris Wood) recruits one of the Legion members, Brainiac-5 (guest star Jesse Rath), to try to bring her back. Meanwhile, Reign continues her rampage on the city so the DEO teams up with the Legion of Superheroes to try to stop her.
Finally slogged through the crossover, which I enjoyed a lot more than the one last year. I suspect the writers and the cast probably enjoyed it a lot too. The pacing worked fairly well, and I suppose I give a wry smile at the number of "but you! We last saw you in series 2 etc" call-backs. The Legends seemed to do a lot more this year too. Given my slim familiarity with characters from the other shows, I can still give top marks for the death scene of the Professor character. I cried, which is more than some of the people in the show..! Also a poignant comparison of how to face up to death (whereas the whole Nazi plot is to save Nazi-Supergirl from dying), and one of many examples on the themes of togetherness (fitting in a plot ostensibly about a wedding).

Anyway, back to the proper show next.
Ep 11 “Fort Rozz” Season 3 Synopsis:

As Reign (Odette Annable) continues to terrorize the city, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) teams up with Saturn Girl (guest star Amy Jackson), and the two recruit Supergirl’s former enemies, Livewire (guest star Brit Morgan) and Psi (guest star Yael Grobglas), to form a team for a mission to Fort Rozz to recover a prisoner who has information on how to defeat Reign once and for all. Meanwhile, Alex (Chyler Leigh) babysits Ruby (guest star Emma Tremblay).
